baby on solid foods, you're probably realizing that you have a few choices: you can either buy your
baby's pureed
food at the grocery store, or you can make it yourself.
At your
baby's 4 or 6 month checkup, your doctor may discuss
starting your
baby on solid foods.
Since your milk takes
on the various flavors you eat, your
baby may acquire a taste to a wider variety of
foods before
starting solids.
A
baby might show the first signs of celiac disease shortly after
starting on solid foods such as cereals.
However, depending
on the development of your
baby, you may find that he or she is ready to
start with some
solid first
foods at this point.
Start by offering your
baby's first taste of
solid foods and then waiting at least 4 days before you move
on to something else.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section
on Allergy and Immunology says that most
babies can
start eating
foods like strawberries and raspberries after introducing a few traditional
solid foods (such as
baby cereal, pureed meat, vegetables, and other fruits) without causing an allergic reaction.
Contemporary research makes it clear that
starting healthy
babies on solid foods, like infant cereals, before the age of 4 months is an unwise choice.

on special formula cost about 100 $ every 2 days so pablum was best for him now 7 months

on Nutrition says
babies may be
started on solid foods «between 4 and 6 months» of age.
One of the most important things to remember is that there is no gold standard «right way» of
starting baby on solid foods.
