A necessary question: are the sales handle, promo sentence &
back cover copy lumped in with the synopsis or are they separate in a fiction proposal so that the proposal would contain a cover letter, synopsis, sample chapters and then another page with those 3 items?
My meetings started at 7.30 this AM and finishing at 5.30 PM... whew, what a swirling of ideas as we created titles for books;
tweaked back cover copy; created makeover ideas for books that were both tired and just not going anywhere; a variety of spin - offs and marketing ideas... and so much more.
