At the rear, an integrated spoiler on
the back edge of the roof extends the roofline while improving aerodynamics.

The flat -
backed CGT has a strange profile (admittedly improved by the removal
of the
roof), while the Enzo is a little nose - heavy and has so many
edges they occasionally clash and jar with each other.

Around
back are freshly designed taillights, a carbon - fiber
roof -

The power sunroof is an inexpensive canvas design that slides
back and bunches up along the rear
edge of the
roof opening.
At the touch
of a button, the fabric top panel slides
back on rails — rather than lifting and folding — stopping first just at the
edge of the
roof.
The smooth nose, with integrated plastic bumper cover and air dam, is similar to that
of the regular SS, but the Aerocoupe's rear glass cuts a steep angle from the
edge of the
roof to a bit more than halfway
back on the trunk area.
One interesting part
of the camouflage is that it has been applied to the outer
edges of the
roof, from the A-pillar
back to the C - pillar, which could suggest that Aston Martin might be looking to do some sort
of contrasting aluminum treatment similar to what was shown on the DBX Concept.

On the front
of the
roof edges the original
roof deck sheathing was cut
back flush with the wall and the fully adhered membrane folded down around the rafter tails to catch the wall water control layer and air control layer.
The second involves installing heat cables on the lower
edge of a
roof in a serpentine pattern to stop water from freezing and
backing up.
