Overall, the phone has a glossy
finish on the
back with subtle lines and the «M» of the
Moto logo.
But it skips out on the
Moto Maker customizations like wood
finishes and far - too - supple leather
backs.
The feel here is very much similar to that of the
Moto G. Like that device, the
Moto E features a smooth matte plastic
finish, gentle curves around the
back, rounded edges, with a little dimple on its rear cover that's naturally inviting for your index finger to rest on and rub.
The other nice addition to the handset is a textured
finish on the device's
back plate, which is great as it provides more grip when using the
Moto G in your hand.
The
back has a nice premium
finish, complete with
Moto's logo right below circular camera lens, and magnetic pins further down below.
The design of the new
Moto G 2015 is not drastically different but it does leave us impressed with the new added bits like the dual tone
finish at the
back and the freshly textures
back panel.
The
Moto X4 also has antenna lines at the top and bottom, cutting through the frame though thankfully, they stay away from the rear for a seamless
finish across the
back.
The
Moto E has clearly taken some design cues from the
Moto G. There's a similar curved
back that is soft and warm to the touch, along with a matte
finish that is, once again, a delight to hold.
While the original
Moto X is available on the online retail store for Rs. 23,999, the pricing of the Walnut and Teak
finish Moto X is higher for their unique wood
back.
The rear side of the Motorola
Moto G (3rd Gen) is completely redesigned from the predecessor and comes with a new
back cover that has a textured design along with rubberised
finish.
