back, companion passes, etc. via credit card spending and want to

Business class and stay in nicer hotels.

back card, I walk off the plane in India with $ 3K more in my pocket than if I had

When I went to London this winter, I chose to
fly the first leg in
business class (booked with miles) and jumped on a super-cheap economy flight
back with Norwegian Air Shuttle (you can read about how I booked the flights here).

Class flights then you can still rack up a lot of miles from
flying but those of us
flying at the
back are seeing a far lower rate of return than ever before — Delta and United (and soon American) base the number of miles they award travelers on the cost of the ticket purchased (less taxes) so the cheaper ticket you by the fewer miles you'll earn.
This is in no way a good aircraft to take for a
Business Class flight and, while it's naturally better to be up front on this aircraft than in the
back, I'm not sure I'd pay to
fly in this antique unless I absolutely had to.

flown Singapore Air once before — could get enough miles to
fly suites to Singapore and
business class back: two credit cards did it for me;).

back August 17th — two days I can find saver availability on American Airlines metal, I can do the trip with miles for 115,000 miles + $ 291.16 USD (taxes fees).

business class using my Delta Skymiles from LA to Bangkok and Siem Reap to LA via Seoul both ways (since she needed to get
