If you have followed our site for a while you would know that we absolutely love indie games, and that we are all old gamers that came up during the 80s and when we get the joy of reviewing a game that not only is indie but also is an homage to games we grew up with, then we are all over it and everything else has to take a back - seat, as is with the case of this gem of a game that you need to get called Heroes of Loot by OrangePixel, and here is the reason why.
It's a little different on how you select what you would like to play nowadays, instead of just a menu you now have Headquarters which is an interactive hub where you can select everything, for instance, if you go over to Major Howard you can select your daily / weekly orders upon completing these you will receive supply crates, armory credits or an XP bonus, you can also check your mail for any collectables that have dropped or go to the quartermaster to spend / purchase your CoD points along with spending your armory credits on contracts etc on top of this you have multiple other areas to visit such as training areas and prestige, I'm not going to go into too much detail, it's a nice touch keeping things more interactive instead of a boring menu we used to have back in the day.
Another example, and one of the more frustrating one is later on in the game you are set with defending a base, don't worry I don't put spoilers in my reviews, from hordes of enemies trying to destroy certain objects that you need to defend, and it is one of the worst missions in the game simply because the game mechanics kept fighting against me with everything it got, but after quite some time, and numerous retries I finally managed to complete the first 4 or 5 parts of the mission, and the game had me then racing up a mountain chasing a plane which I then had to try and get onto, which again, is fine, but when the game freezes up on me and blue screens and puts me back to the dashboard, only to have me reboot the game and starting that mission all over again, that was almost the last straw for me.
With the hectic E3 Week over, it's time to look back on back on what's happened, and how it's going to change everything (or maybe not) moving forward.

I painted this watercolour painting project back in September 2012, but with everything that's been going on over the last 18 months I've only just had the chance to post it to my blog.
Basically, I tried to make it so everything... usually a profession or somebody who signs up for one of our trips, can get the gear lift, get our training plan, and consult back and forth with them as they prepare over months before the trip, and then when they show up on the trip they are properly geared up.
