You want to have macarons halves as even as possible, so you can either draw circles on
the back side of the parchment paper or try do your best while piping

Dip the top
of the ball into the nuts, and then place the cake pop
back on the
parchment paper - lined baking sheet, nut -
side down (so the stick points straight up).
One thing I did after baking the first
side was to pull the cookie sheet with
parchment out and put the second
parchment sheet
back over top
of the crackers.
Unfortunately my carefully placed piece
of parchment paper ripped on both
sides, so I had to turn it over upside down and
back up again.
Working quickly, dip the top
of each
of the cooled doughnuts in the glaze, turn
back and forth a bit to coat well, invert the doughnut so the glaze is facing up, sprinkle with the optional sprinkles, and place the donut, glazed
side up, to a piece
