It's difficult
to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied
to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately
to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl
to flourish he needs some speed up
front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield
to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence
to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his
back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one
to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes
to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary
to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly
to watch and even more difficult
to stop...
so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

Yes he is right, but comcerning the weekend game i do nt just knw why am
so confident for the game.firstly liverpool can never cope with our attack, and secondly if we defend from the
front like we did from the last two games the defence will be under less pressure.Evne flamini weakness was well covered bcos we defended as a team and attacked as a team.Lastly, we have chambers
back for the game and hopefully the Ox and Walcott
so no need
to raise any fears.Infact liverpool, s attack depends too much on sterling imho, and i think we can keep him quiet, he is not even a good finisher anyway.I strongly believe we will come out on top with hard work and commitment minus complascency

simply not good enough needed
to win this game
so that we could get atleats a point in the upcoming City game, Chelsea will murder Sunderland and therefore create an even bigger gap, we really need another
front attacker who is ok the same wave length of Sanchez and Ozil, anyway we will bounce
back.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems
to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player
to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not
to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed
to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough
to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed
to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford
to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here
so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills
to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil,
so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related
to the failure of this club
to provide him with the necessary players up
front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Another impressive defensive midfielder, Daley Blind can also fill in as a left -
back,
so may not have too much
to worry about with Gundogan's arrival, even if his best role has perhaps been in
front of the
back four.
This will be bad news for Liverpool, who were apparently hoping
to bring the striker
back to Anfield
to help with the
front line problems that they have been suffering
so far this campaign.
In other news, our team seems
to be rounding nicely into form, with a productive off - season and several new additions already settling in, there seems
to be a renewed sense of confidence in the air... our well - oiled machine has conducted business again early this year,
so we can just sit
back, kick our feet up and watch all those other suckers scramble
to make panic moves in the 11th hour... of course, we need
to tie up a few loose ends but our team of savvy negotiators, under the tutelage of our faithful leader, will perform their usual magic with ample time
to spare... I have
to laugh when I look around the soccer world and see all those teams look upon us with envy and scorn as they struggle
to mimic our seemingly infallible business model... thank goodness the powers that be had the foresight and fortitude
to resist the temptations of the modern football era... instead of listening
to all the experts and simply taking the easy way out by making the necessary improvements on the field and in the
front office, we chose the path never traveled... we are truly pioneers in our field... sometimes you just have
to have faith in the people that have always conducted themselves in a respectful and honest fashion... most fans aren't
so fortunate, they will never know what it's like
to follow a team that treats everyone in and around the club as if they were an extended member of the family... all for one I say...
so when you wake up this morning, please try not
to gloat when you see rival fans pacing
back and forth waiting for their respective teams
to pull the usual panic buys, just say nothing and be thankful that it isn't you... like I've always said, this is why you stay the course... this is when the real benefits of having someone in charge for over 2 decades really pays off... have a great day fellow Gunners
I understand the logic behind your thinking and I agree, this could be lethal, but it then means wilshere ramsey flamini and arteta are bench players or have
to be sold because none of them can operate as the sole midfielder in
front of our
back four, arteta is probably the most well rounded for this but against better opposition I don't think he has the physique or pace
to really command that area, he has the intelligence
to read the game but without the other attributes he can only do
so much.
