You can go for watching the majestic leather -
back turtles come upon shore to
nest at Playa Grande.
This island is a favourite of passing Green and Hawksbill
turtles and it's
not uncommon to see their heads pop up whilst you are snorkelling, take a breath and then swim
back down again, or see them hanging around languorously in the corals just chilling.
Las Baulas national park, that protect the leather
back sea
turtle nesting site (most important
nesting site of the country), also include the Playa Grande.
