Are some
of you on here missing a few brain cells as fans There is nothing Arsenal or Wenger can do with the Sanchez situation He wants to leave and has been offered 400k a week in wages who in their right mind is going to turn that down as a player As for blaming wenger who has been our most successful manager helped us build a stadium gave us 20 years
of cl football and some
of the best teams the ol has seen Including the invincible and you all have the Gaul to trash the man as if he has done nothing for the club I suggest you should look at the plastic fans in the Arsenal blogs that have created a toxic atmosphere at the club They attack their own players in a daily basis why would any top player come to s club where the manager the owners and players are shamelessly attached constantly Yet Wenger wins trophies regularly even them that is derided Look at Spurs Liverpool they win fuk all every year yet their fans
back then Look at yourselves and all the negativity that you have created striking the club before you blame Wenger for everything I have been a season
ticket holder since the 70s and never have I seen our fanbase been so full
of entitled morons who have stopped
backing the club and constantly deride the club snd attack it We have the worst fanbase in football you have made this great club a lagging stock in world football All you now us fans constantly moaning If you don't like Arsenal fc then buy
out kronke and run the club or fuk off and support someone else You won't be missed Coyg
(unfortunately banks do nt buy in to we will win the league for the next decade to give
out money) from the cub before they lend then shed lots
of cash, and this unfortunately leads to clubs putting up there
ticket prices to reflect the cost
of big progress, so people sometimes have to realize that the club has to find a way to make club grow, and if they do nt have deep pocketed owners then they have to pitch to the banks for a loan, like we did all those years ago an we are just over the worst
of it now we have paid our dues and are now getting
back among the big boys again.
Until we cease to buy our season
tickets, which for many is akin to taking
out a second mortgage, the ludicrous salaries paid to players and Managers will continue to increase. With regard to the present crop
of Arsenal players some may lack the guts and determination
of the ex players you mention but at the end
of the day the problem at the club now is a lack
of quality particularly through the spine
of the team.Virtually all our fans recognise the need for quality in Goal, at Centre
Back and DM.Unfortunately the one man who is in a position to do something about it does not seem to agree with us.
Got home from the game about an hour or so ago, purely because the trains were delayed and what not, nearly got my head kicked in by the Southampton lot on the way
back too and this is after seeing us loose 2 - 1 at home to a lesser team than us and then I just read that Stan Kroenke has taken 3 million quid
out the club which coincidently is part
of the 3 % rise
of season
ticket prices... Not been my night really.
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit
of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part
of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the best
out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking
of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case
of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best
of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season
tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil
of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind
of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version
of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man goals need to be scored and for much
of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football
back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club
of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
The club can not survive without supporters, so negative publicity will affect your beloved Kroenke, whether you like it or not, Kroenke and the board have already had to
back down in the face
of supporter pressure when they tried to screw more money
out of us over increase season
ticket prices and the Barcelona game.
If you want to talk mediocrity look at other teams other then Man U even Chelsea and you will understand what mediocrity is Morons like you will never appreciate what Wenger has done for Arsenal football club Certainly more then the current plastic moronic fanbase at Arsenal I've been a season
ticket holder since 1976 and this is the worst fanbase I have seen in that time BeforfNs start saying we pay top money my answer is don't come t the ground we don't need stupid fans better to have half empty stadium full
of real fans then morons taking
out their real frustrations
of failure on the team Just ask spuds fans who seem to
back their team even though they have only won 2 trophies in 30 years and only been in the cl 4 times as opposed to the cabinet Full
of trophies that Wenger has delivered plus a new stadium and works class stars that have played for us in his tenure.
Arsenal fans hold the power to get Kronke
out, simply do not go to the next home game, a near empty stadium has two effects, firstly no sales
of match day food, drink or merchandise and secondly, even silent Stan can not keep ignoring the fans wishes, repeat at every home game, just a few persons with Kronke
out banners and he will sell up... Ok so season
ticket holders miss some paid for games, long - term gain is power
back to fans and the support
of fans everywhere.
