my backlog games for this month.

I know that's not something everyone wants to see - and I'm sorry about that - but we had a
backlog of quite a few co-op
games that needed to be added to the database and finally got a man on the job after slacking
for months.
Nintendo packed in a ton of
games for October though, as I'm also going to be playing EOV on 3DS and I'm already
backlogged on the things that came out this month (not to mention last month).
Having 5 or 10
games weekly just
for VC would be overkill and
backlogs would be getting really large.

games so far this year and I shouldn't buy another
for ages, but we all know how the fall releases will crush my
backlog even harder hehe:) Many people have this luxury - problem so some titles need to stand back...
Now wasn't the perfect time, since I have to practice my Splat
game for the last splatfest, but Now I think I'm gonna set this title down a
game in the
backlog, thanks to what I just read.
Steam users (like me) often run into this problem, and have more
games than we will EVER beat, or playthrough once, let alone have time / money
for ALL the newest next - gen
games to play as well... Which is why, picking a primary console is the ONLY realistic option
for most of us
gamers... it Isolates the types of
games, the AMOUNT of
games so we aren't
backlogged on «must play» titles after being out only six months, and so we can actually USE our consoles enough to justify the purchase in the first place.
This just goes to show that there is still plenty of life left in the current generation of consoles, and
for some us, we are a bit
backlogged on
games we have wanted to play.
Every summer, when the days between new
game releases grow longer and longer, we take advantage of all extra time by digging into our
backlogs for older
games we've never gotten around to playing.

Having accumulated a big
backlog and become increasingly accustomed to paying lower prices
for games only a year or so old, I have pretty much stopped chasing the next big release.
Last minute comment, since I fell off my

At the rate that the President enjoys his video
games, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is scheduled
for a February 2015 release window, will be upon us and President Obama will have quite the

PS has the best exclusives
games... Between this, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4 (Just picked up) and all the

Speaking of calculating the time it takes to beat a
game, it's best that you set some guidelines
for yourself when taking on your
backlog.

Demon Gaze, Etrian Odyssey, Criminal Girls, Operation Abyss / Babel, etc. have all been wonderful experiences and rank very highly on my list of
games I'd happily revisit if my
backlog weren't so enormous (I actually co-wrote the most comprehensive English non-walkthrough guide
for Demon Gaze available on the net today).
For retro month, I'm playing one of the most shamefully neglected
games in my
backlog: Final Fantasy V!
I grab new
games all the time and add them to my
backlog just
for a rainy day but I don't get upset anymore when the
game I payed full price
for but haven't played much of (looking at you Tropico) gets offered
for free anymore and I have noticed as well as my Dr that my blood pressure stays in a good spot
for my age as I have less stress which will kill you if you let it:)
Finally that release date hu... this
game is one of the 3 pre-orders I have and honestly I was hoping
for it to be delayed to 2019 lol, don't get me wrong I'm really excited to get ma hands on this baby but a lil more time with ma
backlog wouldn't hurt.
Inevitably this leads to a

games always show up
for review diminishing my chances as they appear.

Since it's a bit of a dry spell
for game releases, we've been jumping into our
backlogs.
Consequently, role - playing
games tend to be released faster than I can complete them, leaving me with a huge
backlog of half - finished (or barely touched) titles;
for example, it pains me to say it, but I'm yet to make any decent progress on a Mass Effect title, despite owning the first two
games in the trilogy!

Even if I took a full two weeks off of work and did nothing but play

backlog for 12 hours a day, I would still have at least twenty
games to beat, and that's not counting any of the purchases I will be making today and tomorrow.

On the one hand, it's a shame it's out now because I can't play it (playing my PSP
backlog on my Vita is my first priority, and I can't do that on current firmware) but I'll get it once I get through the 20 or so PSP
games that aren't licensed

for $ 3 on a sale some months ago and got ta say I was expecting something similar
for India and Russia.Not saying the
games aren't worth it, I really like Assassin's but
for someone with a
backlog like mine... $ 7 just ain't worth to pay
for games that will sit there on your download list waiting to be played when you have time.

Without any doubt, God of War is a system seller, now after God of War, looking into the
backlog of exclusive
games that the PS4 has had since its launch can seem daunting
for new users.
I split my steam library into 3 sections, Installed / regular play
games for those I always go back to, beaten
games that I don't intend to go back to and installed /
backlog games that I need to try and play
for at least 30 min to see if I'm genuinely interested and those
games get moved to the beaten folder if im not that into them.

Honestly, this is the best time to campaign
for and restructure support
for the Vita, only because the next - gen consoles are reliant on titles that have begun to wane in popularity (e.g. Killzone, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, etc.) and are completely bereft of must - have titles; the deficit of titles leaves a sizable gap that divides console owners that don't yet want to make the investment, but have also exhausted their
backlog of
games to play on their current - gen console.
