Ox — until this year I would have said he was another Wenger failed project... that being said, he still only showed us some inklings of the things we thought he would start bringing a couple of years ago... liked his role as a wing - back in the 3 - back system but his moping around and general demeanor about not being sure if he liked this new role was a little off - putting considering how long we have waited for him to show up... I think this is a match for Welbeck or Ox because we need there pace down the sides despite the fact that they are not great finishers as walcott however, they track back and that's always a plus along with Alexis I also think Ramsey should not play this will be a very technical game so I would go with Ozil, santi and coq.

I've realised people are confusing fullback and wingback assuming them to almost be the same.A wingback can be viewed as a more defensive winger whiles a fullback is just a player put near the sides of the centre fullback.Their roles are clearly very different and well defined.That's why you'll consider Ox at RWB and not RB.We need to switch back to 4 -2-3-1 to get the best out of our players like Ozil, Ox, Kolasinac, Bellerin and Monreal.They'll suffer a lot under 3 -4-3.

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

We don't need a b2b player as we have Ramsey Cazorla, Rosicky, Wilshere, Ox but it may be a decent compromise if he is very good at tackling, winning back balls, playing across the field, linking defense to offense etc

I know the pessimism hasnt left you guys but lets look at the facts (they arent positive but not as negative as we fans think) debuchy for all his moaning is a good RB and we have great cover for LB and RB, i for one am happy that we have kept debuchy after selling / loaning ox and carl, and our cbs arent that bad in a 4 back system, and our midfielders arent that bad as we think in a 4231/433 and our forwards are superb and we have kept sanchez and özil (i know most of you do nt like özil) and we have to remember that just last year we bought xhaka a cm and mustafi a cb

Futhermore, theo is different frm all our attackers, he gives us something diffrnt, he has rarely played this season yet he has scored as many as our «hardworking ox» has scored all season, he assists more than any other winger in epl, the keep talk shit abt theo tracking back, the fact is, theo doesn't need to track back, when he plays, opposing fullbacks rarely push up field becus they are scared of his pace, so that leaves our fullback one on one with their winger, now, does our fullback need help frm theo to mark his man??? Only if that winger is Messi, Ronaldo or Robben, if they not either of those three and our fullback can not handle them, then he is not good enough for arsenal!

I would have given Sanchez an early offer to extend with a rigid deadline and if he didn't sign he would have been sold immediately to the highest bidder outside of England... I would have sold Gabriel, DeBouchy, Walcott, Welbeck, Ramsey or Ox, Wiltshire, Gibbs, Jenkinson and Ospina... I would have kept Szczy and gone after Douglas Costa, Hakan Calhanoglu, Van Dijk, Aubameyang, Aurier and Carvalho... all would have been possible, as most either moved to other teams or were actively being scouted by other teams... this team provides formation flexibility, some much needed size on the back - end and bags of scoring potential going forward: not to mention it would be a relatively youthful squad with ample first - touch capabilities to maintain the «beautiful» game and would have vastly increased our potential to score both on the counter and from set pieces

As for the Ox he obviously doesn't want to play for the club that backed him for many years, sell him for # 40m and buy Van Dijk (he is not worth # 180k a week).

This will have to be the lineup without Koscielny if he's not back, I hope Theo starts although Wenger could stick with Ox seeing as he's been really good lately.

That being said, I think the Ox's early poor form was down to him still getting his game legs back as he was recovering from the injury that took him out of the WC.

And when you look back at the last decade, none of those youngsters have progressed in the way that they were hyped up to and yes I'm talking about the likes of Ramsey, Walcott, Jack Wheelchair and the Ox who all had a one season wonder of some sort, during one point in their Arsenal careers, thus far and We can't keep using this excuse for not buying ready made quality, which would instantly improve our chances of winning a major trophy or two, but No, Wenger wants to stick with a theory which clearly isn't working for us on the pitch, but he doesn't really care, as long as it works out well for saving the penny's and the pounds, in the place where it matters most for Arsenal fc, in the bank.

Walcott needs to run back to help the D or else Wenger should start OX as a regular or give a freak chance to Campbell cuz I know for sure if they both play 90 minutes they will run up and down till the end!

The only thing which makes our team unbalanced is playing the luxury item we bought called ozil.I thought he would need time to adjust to physicality of premier league so i supported him, but the guy hasn't improved he tries to dribble past ppl but runs into them somehow, tries to do showboating at unnecessary time which he fails to do miserably.And i see him giving too many back passes when he should drive forward.And the biggest reason i stopped liking him as a player is bcoz of his sulky attitude.No passion or drive for the club, as if he wanted to be at some other club and is just doing the job without his heart in it.He neeeds to be placed on the bench and make him work hard to retain his place.Ramsey and coq in middle with ox and sanchez on both wing and cazorla as cam will make us a more balanced midfield.
