Still need to sort out the wing
backs as ox could still leave thus leaving Bellerin without backup.
Not exact matches

Ox leave, we need an improvement, a player who will go straight into the starting 11
as we will remain with Iwobi
as the under study and Perez
as the
back up option.

back!
We should not sell the
Ox particularly to the PL champs and we should start playing him
as a right wing -
back.
this kid had it all and could have been truly great but guess what, you can take the kid out of the hood but you can't always take the hood out of the kid, sterling hangs around with a bunch of idiots who think posting their mate online doing laughing gas is clever and there all living in London, bringing him in would be a huge mistake in my opinion and those of you suggesting to offer theo and money, Im so glad you don't run the club, theo is the best r winger in the league when fit, we also have Wellington silva coming
back, not to mention
ox to cover or Sanchez if we want to play Danny or mezut on the left, let city have Raheem and let their already volatile dressing room implode, let's get Cech, lacazette and a solid dm to compete with le coq, sell Chesney to inter for good money podolski could be used
as make weight for Morgan or the like release flamini let arteta and Roz have there last season if they choose or let them go if they want more first team football, Rio to have one more loan Diaby pay
as you play and last promote chuba who clearly is going to be an animal, with this I believe the title is ours and if the new 3 settle a real tilt at the cl is possible but please gooners get behind theo he is absolutely essential COYG

back into the game and you feel that we would have struggled if they did get their tails up but even when the doubts may have started after Carroll made it 3 - 1 they had no time to take hold
as the
Ox came up with his stunner.
None of them even deserves to start, if i was the manager i would replace them with the
ox since walcot is
back or may may be use Campbell up front (the
ox's power and directness will be of great use
as a
back to
back midfielder)
He should have picked either Chambers or Holding to start in the
back three with the first league fixture in mind when Konscielny will be sitting out a ban.Playing the
Ox as a makeshift left sided wing -
back is hardly going to persuade him to sign a new contract on the basis that he's an integral part of the squad....
Nice line - up, I'd prefer that 3
back line all day, except it will be Gabriel for mustafi, that's grit, steel, aggression and intelligence at our
back line, but imagine monreal
as a CB when we have Gabriel, holding, I don't understand wenger Mustafi goes into tackles headlessly The front line and midfield is also super human, just dat Ozil is a pussy against aggressive and big teams, I'll prefer
ox or Wilshere or mahrez....
A
back up left winger is a must too and Wenger should handle
Ox's case carefully
as he might end up just be another ordinary player with bags of potential but cant live up to it.
Play Kolasinac on the left and
Ox as right wing
back and we are a better team.
So the second would probably need to be a central midfielder (or another wing
back if
Ox stays and is used
as a utility player where he plays across the wing
back positions both sides or central midfield if needed)
Ox — until this year I would have said he was another Wenger failed project... that being said, he still only showed us some inklings of the things we thought he would start bringing a couple of years ago... liked his role
as a wing -
back in the 3 -
back system but his moping around and general demeanor about not being sure if he liked this new role was a little off - putting considering how long we have waited for him to show up... I wouldn't hesitate to sell if the right number was offered but probably not to a top 8 team
1) On the pitch: - we always start 3 -4-3 but always switch
back to a
back 4... it isn't tactical
as we look bad in both - Bellerin playibg LWB when you have the best in the bundesliga last season on the bench - Welbeck playing the striker role when he can do everything but score when you have Lacazette a record signing on the - Monreal in
back 3 when you have Kostafi who can flank Per in the middle protecting him against pace
as well
as having a commending figure and - Telling Xhaka to not play
as a 3rd offensive player when Ramsey dashes - Playing a guy in
Ox so out of position and persisting with him over preseason
as if he would be there for years when it is clear he doesn't want to play for us (his case is a weird one)
Cech Holding, Mert, Monreal Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Gibbs Walcott or
Ox, Sanchez, Welbeck 3,4,3 or the wingers and fullbacks can drop
back, 5,4,1 Very defensive but nice pace on the counter and enough talent to control the tempo seeing

Ox doesn't see himself

back but more
as a central player why should he not ask for Wenger's plans for him?
this is just because AW is a stubborn creature and will not change a lot of things but i would trust
Ox with the DM role... But if i was choosing, i would go with following UNPOPULAR pattern... damn right Debuchy has proved all you guys wrong and just had one of his best outings for Arsenal —
As a centre
back!!!!
For now I would play the
OX as a DM and just have jack floating to cover him at the
back.
Yes he is right, but comcerning the weekend game i do nt just knw why am so confident for the game.firstly liverpool can never cope with our attack, and secondly if we defend from the front like we did from the last two games the defence will be under less pressure.Evne flamini weakness was well covered bcos we defended
as a team and attacked
as a team.Lastly, we have chambers
back for the game and hopefully the
Ox and Walcott so no need to raise any fears.Infact liverpool, s attack depends too much on sterling imho, and i think we can keep him quiet, he is not even a good finisher anyway.I strongly believe we will come out on top with hard work and commitment minus complascency
As a matter of fact, this is one of the main reasons for underperforming in last few years - the so called «British core» - overrated and low quality British players, well bellow, in quality, to foreigners. To spend 32 millions on 2 mediocre English players - Welbeck and Chambers - when you can get foreign «wizzards» for that type of money is suicidal. Now, go on an analyze how much Wilshere, Gibbs,
Ox, Walcott and Ramsey helped the team to be the best in the last few years. And how much, for instance, did Sanchez in only few months.Alexis is better than all «British core» combined and cost a fraction of these overrated players. The time we get rid of the british players is the time we go
back on top.Time will tell...
I think this is a match for Welbeck or
Ox because we need there pace down the sides despite the fact that they are not great finishers
as walcott however, they track
back and that's always a plus along with Alexis I also think Ramsey should not play this will be a very technical game so I would go with Ozil, santi and coq.
I've realised people are confusing fullback and wingback assuming them to almost be the same.A wingback can be viewed
as a more defensive winger whiles a fullback is just a player put near the sides of the centre fullback.Their roles are clearly very different and well defined. That's why you'll consider
Ox at RWB and not RB.We need to switch
back to 4 -2-3-1 to get the best out of our players like Ozil,
Ox, Kolasinac, Bellerin and Monreal. They'll suffer a lot under 3 -4-3.
If wneger wasn, t 100 % sure on letting the
ox go why would he make any statement about him moving on, then two good bids come in and the club take a desiscion to move him on knowing that iwobi can step up
as a straight winger or kolisnica
as a wing
back.
Play Welbeck
as a long striker, Play Sanchez on the Right — Campbell on the Left... If not Wilshere then The
Ox... The Keeper and
Back 4 should pick it's self..
walcott campbell
ox are average players at best and ramsey is out of position there and less than average
as a winger... mahrez would be a big step up and i doubt we would have to pay 45... anyway selling two of those would rake most of it
back... to be honest i would be happy (and shocked) with mahrez and icardi though still prefer the draxler option... having watched what guardiola has done with man city reserve team against bayern reserves yday wenger would be crazier than i thought if he believes he has a squad to compete in the coming epl / cl
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and
Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up...
Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the
Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies...
as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
As I've being saying and will keep saying that a wing back can be viewed as a defensive winger. It involves two parts; being a defender and a winger at the same time.Ox is more of a winger than Bellerin but Bellerin is more of a defender than Ox.The problem withplaying Ox there is defensively 1v1 he's terrible. However, on the attacking side which is the winger part he's fantastic.Bellerin to me is a much better defender but since he's not a winger he can't give what Ox gives in attack.I hope Ox improves his defending though it'll probably come back to haunt us as usual before we realiz

We don't need a b2b player
as we have Ramsey Cazorla, Rosicky, Wilshere,
Ox but it may be a decent compromise if he is very good at tackling, winning
back balls, playing across the field, linking defense to offense etc
Or alternatively a great defensive midfielder
as we do nt really have one and if so then I would also prefer
Ox to be right
back a la Danni Alves..
Osemele was able to successfully turn Clowney over to the center, Rodney Hudson, but Clowney (whom I may have mentioned earlier is now strong
as a damn
ox), was able to overpower Hudson and push him
back into the backfield.
1) play walcott
as striker with
ox and iwobi / rene on wings 2) sit
back and defend and play on counters for first half and shift a gear in second half while going forward.
I see
Ox as our best right - wing
back despite recognizing he needs a good manager to work with him both on his defending and the timing of his runs forward.
Don't get me wrong, the
Ox is great, but never thought of him
as a right -
back in any capacity.
Gnabry needs to be called
back to hell... he not getting a shout in at west brom, get him bck
as injuries to walcott /
ox / ramsey leaves a huge hole... hell even sanogoals!!
Mustafi Holding and Kos or Monreal / Kolasknac in there or at left wing
back... some good options pkus
Ox and Bellerin at Right wing
back with maybe also Nelson now
as squad player if he kicks on
Ox has been doing some good work at the
back as well.
I know the pessimism hasnt left you guys but lets look at the facts (they arent positive but not
as negative
as we fans think) debuchy for all his moaning is a good RB and we have great cover for LB and RB, i for one am happy that we have kept debuchy after selling / loaning
ox and carl, and our cbs arent that bad in a 4
back system, and our midfielders arent that bad
as we think in a 4231/433 and our forwards are superb and we have kept sanchez and özil (i know most of you do nt like özil) and we have to remember that just last year we bought xhaka a cm and mustafi a cb
Futhermore, theo is different frm all our attackers, he gives us something diffrnt, he has rarely played this season yet he has scored
as many
as our «hardworking
ox» has scored all season, he assists more than any other winger in epl, the keep talk shit abt theo tracking
back, the fact is, theo doesn't need to track
back, when he plays, opposing fullbacks rarely push up field becus they are scared of his pace, so that leaves our fullback one on one with their winger, now, does our fullback need help frm theo to mark his man??? Only if that winger is Messi, Ronaldo or Robben, if they not either of those three and our fullback can not handle them, then he is not good enough for arsenal!
I would have given Sanchez an early offer to extend with a rigid deadline and if he didn't sign he would have been sold immediately to the highest bidder outside of England... I would have sold Gabriel, DeBouchy, Walcott, Welbeck, Ramsey or
Ox, Wiltshire, Gibbs, Jenkinson and Ospina... I would have kept Szczy and gone after Douglas Costa, Hakan Calhanoglu, Van Dijk, Aubameyang, Aurier and Carvalho... all would have been possible,
as most either moved to other teams or were actively being scouted by other teams... this team provides formation flexibility, some much needed size on the
back - end and bags of scoring potential going forward: not to mention it would be a relatively youthful squad with ample first - touch capabilities to maintain the «beautiful» game and would have vastly increased our potential to score both on the counter and from set pieces
As for the
Ox he obviously doesn't want to play for the club that
backed him for many years, sell him for # 40m and buy Van Dijk (he is not worth # 180k a week).
or for something a little more adventurous how about bellerin and monreal either side of holding with the
ox and gibbs
as wing
backs!
This will have to be the lineup without Koscielny if he's not
back, I hope Theo starts although Wenger could stick with
Ox seeing
as he's been really good lately.
That being said, I think the
Ox's early poor form was down to him still getting his game legs
back as he was recovering from the injury that took him out of the WC.
And when you look
back at the last decade, none of those youngsters have progressed in the way that they were hyped up to and yes I'm talking about the likes of Ramsey, Walcott, Jack Wheelchair and the
Ox who all had a one season wonder of some sort, during one point in their Arsenal careers, thus far and We can't keep using this excuse for not buying ready made quality, which would instantly improve our chances of winning a major trophy or two, but No, Wenger wants to stick with a theory which clearly isn't working for us on the pitch, but he doesn't really care,
as long
as it works out well for saving the penny's and the pounds, in the place where it matters most for Arsenal fc, in the bank.
Walcott needs to run
back to help the D or else Wenger should start
OX as a regular or give a freak chance to Campbell cuz I know for sure if they both play 90 minutes they will run up and down till the end!
The only thing which makes our team unbalanced is playing the luxury item we bought called ozil.I thought he would need time to adjust to physicality of premier league so i supported him, but the guy hasn't improved he tries to dribble past ppl but runs into them somehow, tries to do showboating at unnecessary time which he fails to do miserably. And i see him giving too many
back passes when he should drive forward. And the biggest reason i stopped liking him
as a player is bcoz of his sulky attitude. No passion or drive for the club,
as if he wanted to be at some other club and is just doing the job without his heart in it.He neeeds to be placed on the bench and make him work hard to retain his place.Ramsey and coq in middle with
ox and sanchez on both wing and cazorla
as cam will make us a more balanced midfield.
