Think I'll try 1/2

on the bottom and
bake a few min, then add the pumpkin followed with dry
cake and drizzle butter and pecans
on top.
Bake the
cake at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes or until lightly browned
on top.
The thing that makes pudding
cakes like these so wonderfully gooey is that hot water is poured
on top of the
cake batter just before
baking.
Put the molds
on a rimmed
baking sheet and
bake until the
cakes have puffed up a bit, the
tops are barely set and the
cakes still jiggle slightly when shaken, 7 to 9 minutes (better under -
baked than overbaked).
The pears
bake right into the batter, leaving beautiful pear bumps
on top of the finished
cake.
I'd never heard of Baumkuchen — a traditional German
cake baked in layers
on a rotating spit in front of a grill, whose final spiraling layers resemble the cross-sectional growth rings of a tree [see how it's done]-- but when I got to the Shichttorte — a layer
cake made by
baking very thin layers of batter one by one
on top each other — I realized that I had in fact bookmarked a similar recipe in a cookbook, probably close to fifteen years ago!

After
baking, I split the
cake in half, horizontally, and added a layer of frosting in between, as well as
on top.
Dip the
top of the ball into the nuts, and then place the
cake pop back
on the parchment paper - lined
baking sheet, nut - side down (so the stick points straight up).
Set the
cake over a cooling rack
on top of a
baking sheet.
You could also try
baking them
on a
cake cooling rack, placed
on top of the sheet pan, just to allow more air to circulate around them as well.

Then, instead of
baking round
cakes, I used square pans to create four rectangular layers, which, piled one
on top of another with all that icing, shaped the
cake into a log like my family's favorite
cake at Thanksgiving, a frozen chocolate and coffee mousse.
Her description of the
cake intrigued me, because while it started with a simple white butter
cake, once the
cake was
baked you immediately spread a sweet almond mixture
on top and then the
cake was further
baked until the almond
topping turns wonderfully caramelized and crispy.
Transfer batter to prepared loaf tin and
bake on the center rack for 25 — 35 minutes (mine took 30) until the

Then, about halfway through the
baking time, we pull the
cake from the oven and quickly place some cherries, that have been cut in half,
on top of the partially
baked cake.
Then take about 14 cherries (about 1/3), cut them in half, and set them aside (place
on a sheet of paper towel, cut side down) to be placed
on the
top of the
cake during
baking.
This
cake follows a
baking method that employs a high temperature to dry out the apples
on top, thus avoiding gumminess.
Pour the batter into the
cake tin and
bake for between 30 to 45 minutes (depending
on how deep the
cake is), until the
top springs back to the touch and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

All you have to do is
bake the
cake, poke holes in it, pour something
on top of it, and you're pretty much done!
I also put a full sized oreo in the bottom of the cup
cake before pouring
on the batter... Was a big hit with the kids...
baked right in and then mini oreos
