The food, like the liquor, was seemingly endless: Miniature Oscars made out of salmon, asparagus soup,
baked mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, spicy tuna cones, beef tartar, salmon pizza, baked potatoes topped with caviar, vegan pasta, sushi, a stocked seafood station and enough desserts to make even the sweetest tooth ache (not that that stopped anyone, judging from the long line for the crepe station).
Not too sure if this is a real «fall dinner» but
a baked mac and cheese (especially your brie one) definitely tops it.

Some years ago, my amazing, older brother, Kevin, set the tone for the perfect
baked mac and cheese.
So, the squash replaced a good portion of cream and cheese found in traditional
baked mac and cheese.
I always ate
baked mac and cheese growing up, so I like it that way.
A large jack - o - lantern type pumpkin will hold enough for a crowd, and people will be clamoring for more of this delectable
baked mac and cheese.
Using evaporated milk makes
this baked mac and cheese exceptionally rich and creamy — it may be for a crowd, but it's bound to go quickly.
(I used it for the lusciously creamy vegan
baked mac and cheese recipe that I shared just the other day!)
One of the reasons
this baked mac and cheese recipe is SOO good is that it has four cheeses in it, yes four and a good amount of spices.
That was until this recipe happened because it just may be the creamiest
baked mac and cheese ever.
I definitely prefer
baked mac and cheese with a good heap of Xtra sharp white and yellow cheddar.
If you want to
bake the mac and cheese, preheat oven to 350 deg F and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until top turns a golden brown.
Bake the mac and cheese until it starts to bubble around the edges, 35 minutes.
While you could forgo
baking the mac and cheese and serve directly after mixing the pasta with the sauce, the extra step of baking in the oven and crunchy cracker crumbs really take this dish to the next level.
You can also cut back on the time significantly by not
baking the mac and cheese and serving it straight from the stovetop.
