out now for Gears of War 3 on the Xbox 360 and with it comes numerous tweaks, fixes, and
balancing improvements for both Horde and versus

Were Blizzard to bring StarCraft to XBLA, they already have the right
gameplay balance laid
out that should please the community.
I'm sort of want this to be the next normal controller as not only does everyone get the benefit but the
balancing of
gameplay should be evened
out as well.
You see, despite its name it's not really a sequel to the much - loved Cossacks series, rather it's pretty much a complete remake of the original game, retaining most of its
balance and mechanics while upgrading the graphics and smoothing
out the
gameplay a touch.
Eidos have done a stellar job of managing to
balance everything
out and ensuring that no style of
gameplay is pushed more than another, but ultimately I'd have to say that the augmentations on hand and amount of alternate ventilation routes and level layouts did encourage me to take a stealthier approach rather than a brutal frontal assault.
The
gameplay itself has been improved over Pure, and manages to give a bit better
balance with weapons, the racing seems to be worked
out nicely, and the modes are fantastic.
Some changes were also made to some stages to
balance out difficulty, and some minor
gameplay improvements were added.
With repetitive
gameplay, many occasions where you have to grind, a not - so -
balanced difficulty curve and less than stellar graphics, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is definitely not a stand
out in the boss - hunting RPG genre - though it still may offer a bit of fun to the hardcore enthusiast.
With one small exception Persona 5 does a great job at what the series has been doing best for years now, providing a
gameplay experience where players have to
balance their dungeon progression with the main character's social, academic, and work life while progressing through a strong character based narrative with a host of fully fleshed
out party members and npcs.
The campaign consists of huge cinematic battles where you are simply fighting to survive among the madness, but there is also quieter moments of stealth that
balance out the
gameplay nicely.
So what happens is for the first couple or so hours of
gameplay, you are trying to figure
out a good routine to
balance all the statistics the protagonist has: making sure health, hunger, happiness, and energy are maintained, training the strength, agility, stamina to good levels (keeping in mind these decrease as days end), and earning enough money for food and to go to the gym.
Each title has a different
balance of elements, but from FTL to the Banner Saga to
Out There to the Walking Dead, it seems like there's suddenly interest in mixing good writing, interactive choices and
gameplay.
Sadly there isn't quite enough of these little detours to completely
balance out the continuous blasting, but at under five hours of
gameplay you'll be finished it before you get too bored anyway.
What Warhead trims in terms of scale is
balanced out by a greater attention to pacing and sensible
gameplay variety, as well as level design that seems more tuned to the game's unique (and enjoyable) combat and suit mechanics.
The new feature that I can't wait to try
out is the «Match Experience», which
balances the
gameplay around the desired match length setting (short, normal, or epic).
Blizzard has knocked it
out of the park by creating a great game with an awesome aesthetic and incredibly well -
balanced gameplay, so you can be competitive regardless of the character you choose to battle with.
EA promises even more changes are to come including
balancing out the
gameplay, content updates and more.

The overall rhythm of
gameplay benefits from this feature, as you must decide how to
balance the risk of exposure in going after a hand - to - hand kill against the welcome ability to thin
out the always numerous enemies in one fell swoop.
Admittedly a little delayed in my completion of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Breath of the Wild's Ballad of the Champions came
out shortly after, a diversion of such overt beauty that I'm glad I wandered the long route), I've been concerned about the
balance of its
gameplay since day one, and if the story wasn't a little intriguing, I might not have made it to the end.
But over time it certainly
balances out and Precision Dribble stands
out for me as the very best of the trinity of
gameplay features.
They have recently released the first patch, squashing a lot of game - save - killing bugs, and helping
balance out the
gameplay.
Warhawk really shines when that
balance is allowed to come
out on top and the addictive
gameplay starts to surface.
Capcom has fixed some bugs and
balanced out the
gameplay in this update.
Pilots also have the ability to take
out Titans, a relatively miraculous
gameplay balancing feat when you think about it.
