playing football and you got a high
ball to control the slightest touch will push you off it for sure eguaro pushed mustafi but mustafi should have stock his leg out to bring him down or elbowed him in the face well i would have done that Arsenal were not hungry enough for the cup if they were we would have seen some blood running down of some Manchester players Arsenal need to defend in packs of wolves The first half was not to bad we should have scored though but yes no
back bone no hunger and no fight What is going to happen on Thursday how are we going to line up against them??? I need to see Arsenal fight like man stand up like man and use their skill and agility to turn Manchester to a loosing side Well if we do nt we need to separate the real man

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems
from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long
ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the
ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

If we can keep up this hunger for the
ball and this drive we can
play one of 3 ways and vastly increase our chances of winning any game: we defend
from the front, we defend deep or we
play with a dynamic switch mentality (you pressure when you first lose the
ball, then drop off if you don't win it
back quickly enough).

Ozil
plays his best football when he can focus on his good parts, he is not a player who puts pressure on the opposition for 90 mins and tracking
back etc, Ozil needs players behind him who can do that so he can use his intelligence in his pos, being able to drift away
from a marker and in a place to flick the
ball onto an attacker...
He's stated on multiple occasions that while the philosophy and technically sound possession oriented football remains the foundation, the
play as a whole is intended to get the
ball from back to front as quickly as possible, giving the MSN more time with the

Our 3
back is just so wrong. We don't have natural wingbacks even in this formation. It also seems to me that lots of people here believe if you're good at right or left fullback then automatically you're good at RWB / LWB which quite frankly is untrue. That's why Oxlade Chamberlain can be considered at RWB but not right
back.At RWB or LWB you're asking too much in terms of attack
from Bellerin and Kolasinac.A proper wing
back can be viewed as a more defensive winger which quite frankly none of them are and they don't possess the flexibility too to
play that way.Our midfielders are also not disciplined enough because in 3
back there's a huge gap in the centre of the field that must be covered by our CM's so indiscipline only means disaster. We also have Ozil who looks like he's
playing at RW in 3
back.In that we're limiting his impact because Ozil takes on his man because he wants to not because he likes to.You can't
play such players at the wing. He's a proper No. 10 who likes to be given freedom. That's why Ozil
plays likes he's lazy on the
ball and stuff. It's because he wants to be free and for that you need to put him at No. 10.

He needs to be
played in an attacking role where he doesn't need to go to ground trying to win the

Deny it all you want but since Fabregas left Arsenal our frre flowing football has really declined. It feels like am the only one who thinks we lack real penetration and ideas in the final third of opponents. Also in 14/15 sesson I lost count of our misplaced passes and poor gameplay overall. We've been very very poor in our passing game for some seasons now.For a game like this to work you need players whonhold the
ball very well and are possession efficient.Look at the Arsenal starting lineup and compare it to that of years
back and you'll know what I mean.We have very few possession efficient players which is causing this problem. We don't have many players who can actually hold the
ball and
play the
ball.That's what differentiates us
from the top passing teams.

gibbs
played well and deserves a higher rating so does holding apart his mistake that cost us a goal also i'm delighted for perez i've noticed on a technical level he is not what you would called a typical arsenal player his first touch & control are not the best he tends to lose a
ball a bit too much and needs at least 2 touches i could be wrong and may be it is because he is just
back from injury or he was a bit nervous on his return, i know people will say that it doesn't really matter as long as he scores the reason why we bought him and they could be wright anyway great win, performance and topping the group great, COYG!
The Arsenal
played well we had over 70 % position of the
ball with something like 27 attacks were 8 were on target burnly had a game plan and that game plan was about hurting our players ankles and they got away scot free with it yet xaka gets red?????? Yes they were diddling about when that happened but compare it to the challenge on ozil and he was on goal yes koscienly came
back from an offside position but the high boot on the head was dangerous I thought Arsenal
played well and controlled the game well even when we were put under pressure in our own half when you look at the penalty awarded to them you will see a dive as coquelin barely touched him how many time did they push kosscielny of the
ball???? hope he is ok as he was looking like he had a thigh problem I like the
back four of todays as Gabriel did ok specially when we went down to ten men >> > I salute our Arsenal for wining the game on the 97 minit with only 10 men on the field What an iced cold penalty scored by Alexis
He knows he wouldn't last long in a team that can not build the attack
from the
back, can not possess the
ball too long, has kick - rush style and always make long kicks
from the goal instead of
playing the opponent's attackers with passing game, like Arsenal.
Ox for example often
plays wide and takes the
ball deep to cut it

If you contrast his performance in the games where Arsenal had less possession, where he had to do the job of a true defensive midfielder, that is, chase the
ball, close down the opposition, help his team
play confidently
from the
back by coming out with the
ball and taking on the one on one chase
back toward his goal.
@brada — thanks.i thought i was insane, just thinking that thought of we missing giroud.you know arsenal believes in the fluid system of passing the
ball and keeping possession but when we
play a team that presses well and close down space, passing out
from the
back becomes difficult (for some reason, i du n no our passing has not been as fluid as the era of FAB, NASIRI, SONG ETC).
He didn't ever try to be clever like Bellierin, Holding or Chambers and bring the
ball down, make a ridiculous
play or pass
from the
back and get caught.
This is EPL wenger should try and focus more on defence, our system is too much of attack whereas there is no superstar to do the magic, we only base on fast pass tempo, a well organized team, just need to keep the
ball from us,
play from the
back, slow down the tempo and we are well beating.
now when this happens, we can not build up
