almond milk and vegan protein powder, dressed up with cacao nibs.
The
flavor is
banana and dates with cinnamon, so the smoothie base is deliciously sweet and can be made with either coconut milk or
almond milk, depending on your preference.
I like to top it off with sliced
banana, soaked
almonds and pomegranate seeds for added texture and
flavor.
You can also leave out the turmeric entirely (I know it's a distinctive
flavor that's not for everyone), and you'd end up with what is probably our favorite smoothie «base» recipe, with
bananas,
almond butter, and nut milk comprising the bulk of the smoothie.

If you need some

banana bread, or for breakfast, I made 3 homemade
flavors last year that are pretty bomb.

In addition to changing the
flavor of the crust you could substitute
almond butter or cashew butter for the peanut butter, and you could top the pie with anything you like — nuts, vegan whipped cream,
bananas, etc..
** I've tried this with
almond butter and peanut butter, and liked both — though the
almond had a much more classic «
banana nut»
flavor.

almond milk or coconut water, greens, creamy fruit like

banana or grapefruit followed by a mix made of one organic raw egg, two tablespoons of store - bought muesli cereal to which I have added more nuts (cashews,
almonds, walnuts etc.) and dried fruits (raisins, sultanas, currents, prunes, cranberry, goji etc.) a tablespoon of Mercola «Pro-Optimal Whey» for chocolate
flavor, a teaspoon each of powdered Guarana.
