smoothies yes thats all I have for breakfast, I make big ones though, normally with two
bananas as the base and then lots of other fruit, some spinach or
kale, dates and then a mixture of some nuts / seeds / super-foods, either chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, hemp protein, spirulina, maca, oats, almond butter etc..
The range of
smoothies includes muesli peanut, anti-oxidant, quinoa
banana and
kale basil mango.
Enjoy it on sliced apples, spoon it onto bite after bite of a

I have had success with my two - year old drinking
smoothies that consist of almond milk, spinach (or
kale), chia seeds, 1
banana and 1 date.
I think this would work perfectly in a green juice actually — with something like
kale juiced while
bananas and berries were blended — this might be perfect for those who normally find green
smoothie a bit too heavy.

I just started making my own
smoothies and experimented with
kale (with strawberry and
banana) for the first time this morning.
Students sampled fresh apple slices, applesauce, salmon dip on crackers, cheese,
smoothies made with
kale,
banana, apples and milk, a variety of local produce was sampled from cut up raw veggies, like carrot, pepper, radishes, and fresh roasted beets and new potatoes, and
kale chips.
I tried the «Bad Monkey,» a rich
smoothie with coconut milk,
banana, and cacao nibs, the «Melon Ball,» a juice combining cantaloupe,
kale, apple, and ginger — which had a great kick!
At breakfast make a green
smoothie (or juice) with 50 percent fresh baby spinach or
kale and 50 percent fruit, such as
bananas, pear or pineapple and blend with water.
Frozen
bananas also add a substantial, yet mellow, sweetness to
smoothies, making it so you can't even TASTE that the
kale or spinach are in the same drink.
It's better to drink your
kale,
banana and cinnamon
smoothie that you enjoy, than to drink and gag over one sip of something funky you hate.
