Just looking at your
banana pancake recipe, which I would
like to try with my children.
I stuck to the recipe and it was fine, I found the blue berries and
banana kept it moist but it wasn't the same texture as normal
pancake batter, much more
like a wet peanut butter prior to cooking.
This blend of oats, almonds and flax makes each
pancake brilliantly thick with a perfectly warm, squishy middle — just
like good american
pancakes, while the addition of ripe
banana to the batter also makes them deliciously sweet so you just need a drop of pure maple syrup for extra deliciousness!
Once cooked, remove the
pancakes and top with maple syrup, sliced
bananas or whatever you
like best.
Finally, you should know that adding
bananas will make your baked goods denser than normal, which can be good for items
like loaf breads, brownies, and
pancakes, but not so good for cakes.
I just tried to make it by using the separated egg i.e. whipping the white first then adding
banana + yolk and while the batter looked beautiful when I was frying the
pancake it wasn't strong enough to stay together and couldn't flip as one whole piece Mine turned out
like a mush.
If you
