What do you do with a freezer bag full of leftover bread heels in the freezer, overripe
bananas, and even some butternut
squash puree?
I used 8 oz of cream cheese and I used Cushaw
Squash puree 1 cup because I had some to use up and my
bananas were too green.
I will make it again with
bananas, pumpkin and butternut
squash puree.
Add the mashed
banana, butternut
squash puree, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and apple sauce and whisk until well combined
Reduce liquid by about 1/3 and add applesauce,
pureed banana, pumpkin, sweet potato, or
squash to make up the difference.
You may have to thin it out depending on your
squash puree and
banana consistency.
I've since made the recipe a few more times (once with ~ 1 cup butternut
squash puree and once with sweet potato
puree in place of the
banana) but none have really worked out as well as the
banana.
