bar chopped up rather than chips — same quantity and % cocao.
Substituted the choc chips for a Green & Black's organic 70 % cocoa dark choc
bar chopped up.
While I love my granola in my parfaits, I have to say I am loving the Premier Protein chocolate peanut butter
bar chopped up on top — it seriously tastes like Snickers.
• 1/4 cup coconut oil • 1/2 cup coconut sugar • 1 large egg • 1 tsp vanilla • 1.5 cups almond meal • 2 T arrowroot starch • 2 T coconut flour • Pinch salt • 1/4 Tsp baking soda • 1/2 cup soy free chocolate chunks (or a good
bar chopped up) • 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts / pecans would be best, I only had cashews) • 1/2 cup fresh cherries (pit and cut in half)
Feel free to fold in coconut, dried fruit, oats, or your favorite chocolate
bar chopped up; the possibilities are endless!
I also wanted to see if there was a difference in using chocolate chips instead of the chocolate «disks», which I have used chocolate
bars chopped up and Hershey's Bliss chocolates, sliced thinner for the «disks».

Most grocery stores will carry 4 oz packages of Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking
Bars and I have been known to purchase these and

up for chocolate chip cookies), Gorgonzola flavored crackers, heavy whipping cream in the box, and 21 seasoning salute.
Personally, I'd take a chocolate
bar and
chop it
up finely (I like all those different textures in the ice cream) but mini chocolate chips would be good, too!
This is the brand I use, but if you can't find them you can
chop up a
bar of dark chocolate (or you can omit the chips entirely, but then they'll just be «trouble chocolate cookies» rather than «double trouble chocolate cookies»).

bar (which also had notes of orange, nutmeg and cinnamon), I used a combination of spelt and rye flour, opted for coconut sugar, and olive oil in lieu of the coconut oil
I'll be eating this exact salad for the next few days while I try to catch
up on real life — lucky for me, after a Sunday morning grocery trip and a lot of
chopping today, my fridge is like a salad
bar just waiting for me to dig in.
