No matter how healthy and fit you are, there's one part of the body that can get irritated during all kinds of different workouts; ones that use just bodyweight moves as well as kettlebell and
barbell workouts alike: the wrist.
One of the truly great things about
a barbell workout is that every single person who tries it can benefit from it.
A bar complex would fall under
a barbell workout, but it's a very different animal.
So this isn't technically a complex, but it is still
a barbell workout.
The best solution is to do a dumbbell complex or
barbell workout.
The barbell workout is my personal favorite.
I have been doing
a barbell workout as well and then burpees intermittently so I'm assuming that it's a overuse injury.
I have been lifting fairly regularly for about 20 years now (I am 54) and prefer them to
barbell workouts.
