A Shot
of Adrenaline has been around for almost 2 years now (Actually, few
of you may know this but it started off as Extreme-Exercises.com but I want through a rebrand with my buddy Corbett
Bar from ThinkTraffic.net).
The concept was dreamt up by four
adrenaline - junkies who wanted to get singles out
of smoky city
bars and into the mucky country.
Or, as Nicholas himself puts it, «Well, I won't argue that it was a no holds
barred,
adrenaline - fueled thrill ride, but there's no way you could perpetrate that amount
of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount
of paperwork.»
Despite always being able to go back to the base and have a revitalising nap to top up your life
bar, the thrill
of pushing forward to find the next safe house - and your inevitable demise — is certainly some
adrenaline rush!
Speaking
of the
adrenaline bars this is what drives all
of your special moves within the game.
Using the GamePad as the camera, players «shoot» their way through seven
adrenaline fueled stages including dimly lit alleyways, crack houses and drug dens: all in an attempt to snap incriminating photos
of drug deals in progress to help build a solid case that puts dangerous drug lords behind
bars.
As I escape unharmed, my
adrenaline dissipates and the satisfaction
of seeing my score
bar light up with hundreds
of points makes the situation all the more classic.
That being said, it's still a very solid game that can make you twitchy with
adrenaline when it's really trying, and you got ta love the idea
of sticking the health
bar on Clarkey's spine to help minimise the GUI.
