We must confess we found the previous Arkham games a little repetitive in their fight -
based gameplay sections.

While I found the scored -
based levels that relied on tricks to be more fun than the racing
sections,
gameplay is just not deep enough to be engaging for more than a short period of time.

The multiplayer
gameplay section showed off one player entering another players
base.
The only time the
gameplay falters is during the few moments when Binary Domain leaves its pure cover -
based shooting roots and attempts to mix things up with some different sequences, such as racing jet - skis down a river or on - rail vehicle
sections.
It seems like a huge departure from the text, but it ultimately gives the game enough action
sections to feel refreshing when the text -
based gameplay would start to get slow.
Considering that the host platform is portable, it makes sense that the main game be
based around moderately concise
sections of
gameplay.
Emotionally poignant and philosophical, the true highlights come in
sections with barely any
gameplay at all: text -
based dream sequences that represent memories awoken inside your amnesiac brain, touching on what it would be to live as an immortal, to outlive those who return your love, over and over again.
At the very start of the game, players get a tease of four different
gameplay sections based on full play sets available.
Metroid Fusion is also quite good and I'm probably more positive on the game than when I was first playing it but I found it kind of odd with the
sectioned off areas resulting in smaller worlds / maps and the mission
based gameplay it seemed to have.
Even with Titanfall 2 being
based heavily on the Titan
gameplay, we still found the
sections of the campaign where you were just in control of Jack Cooper much more enjoyable, which is exactly how we felt in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, preferring to be in control of Nick Reyes on foot.
