based on the amiibo costumes found in Super Mario Maker.
I remember predicting a party game
based on amiibo but I didn't think they would use Animal Crossing to do it.
For the minigame mode Blast Ball Nintendo shared examples of amiibo usage with Mario and Bowser, wherein these amiibo's will give your mechanized robots some new coats of paint
based on that amiibo.

Primarily in the form of interactive figurines
based on notable Nintendo characters,
amiibo can be scanned by the Wii U or 3DS while the player is playing a compatible game to enhance the gaming experience.
Three
Amiibo based on characters within the game will be launching alongside Splatoon, and will bring exclusive missions to owners.
This points toward the fact that Nintendo has prepared Link
amiibo based on the hero of Hyrule's character designs in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
For example, Splatoon
amiibo will bring squirrel villagers
based on Callie and Marie into the game, as well a series of Splatoon - themed furniture and clothing items.
Based on this, it seems quite likely that these villagers will be returning in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer through a later series of Animal Crossing
Amiibo Cards or downloadable content.
Outside of the game bundle and 3 - pack,
amiibo figures
based on Tom Nook, Mable and Lottie can be purchased separately at a suggested retail price of $ 12.99 each.
Right now, we can expect some form of compatibility with the new Splatoon Squid Sisters

Nintendo has done an amazing job of bringing their host of Wii U games together through several connections like
amiibo and cross-over DLC and now Super Smash Bros. is getting a stage
based on Super Mario Maker.
Tapping any of the Kirby series
amiibo figures like Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight or Waddle Dee will permanently unlock a new colorful costume for Qbby
based on that character.
The Legend of Zelda
amiibo: Three new

on June 23.
After two versions, wildly successful DLC, and obscenely popular

K. Slider x Cinnamoroll - the Sanrio characters will not appear in the game, just the special furniture
This means down the line we could see further indie developers release
Amiibo figures or even one
based on the Rayman franchise.
