out the turmeric entirely (I know it's a distinctive flavor that's not for everyone), and you'd end up with what is probably our favorite smoothie «
base» recipe, with bananas, almond
butter, and nut milk comprising the bulk
of the smoothie.
I added a touch
of light brown sugar to the melted chocolate and
butter base, and added some vanilla to round
out the flavor.
Directions: Saute chopped leeks and garlic in
butter, medium low heat, until very soft — 10 — 15 minutes / Add 1 t fresh thyme if you have it / Mix milk and egg together with salt & pepper / When tart shell is done and slightly cooled, sprinkle one half
of the cheese on the bottom / Spread cooked leeks over cheese, pour egg milk mixture over the leeks / Sprinkle top with remaining cheese / Bake in a 375 degree oven until egg is barely set and tart is lightly golden — 15 — 20 minutes, longer for a larger pan with more filling / Remove from oven, lift
out of tart pan

butter, was low in sugar, was fast and easy to put together with no equipment needed, and was still super rich and satisfying.

of a light peanut crust (adapted from my pistachio - poppyseed crust), toasted peanuts and caramel (made from a
base of brown rice syrup and peanut
butter), and a smooth dark chocolate ganache turned
out to be a sophisticated, vegan version
of the popular candy bar I grew to love as a child.

based ingredients, this pot is keeping my lips hydrated, even if the deep pot is tricky to get the product
out of without a brush.
To make the flaky
base layer: • combine cashew
butter with coconut flour and salt, mix well • add in maple syrup and use your hands to incorporate it into the mixture • the dough should stick together well but it should not be sticky • note: coconut flour quickly dries
out the dough so make sure to work fast (see step 3 below); add in a drop or two
of water if the dough starts crumbling easily
