based teacher assignments.

The new methodology is already challenging widely held beliefs by finding that
teachers can not be judged solely on the
basis of their academic credentials, that classroom size is not always paramount and that students may actually be more engaged if they struggle to complete a classroom
assignment.
When you start out embedding making in the curriculum, it is essential to share with
teachers the relevance of making as problem solving and the importance of process so that they don't end up with glitter catapult
assignments or extra crafty English language arts
assignments that turn out more like craft experiments than true project -
based learning.
These include standards -
based projects and
