I recently finished Security
Analysis and have also read the Intelligent Investor, but I feel like I'm not getting the most out of these books as I should because my ability to read
balance sheets and financial statements is very very
basic (sorry, I have a liberal arts degree).
At minimum, you must be able to read and understand
balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and annual reports, and perform some
basic statistical
analysis.
