There are some bloggers out there who are globally renowned but have the most
basic blog set ups and barely do anything to drive their growth and success beyond
posting simple
outfits everyday, there are other hugely successful bloggers who have mastered every trick in the book to maximise their blog, their content and their business and who have garnered success through clever and smart blog management.
Layering pieces like this are perfect to have on hand for winter to change up a
basic outfit and suddenly look so stylish (that's a little style «hack» I often use, see my
post on «The Third Piece Rule»).
I still have lots of travel
posts to come — especially from my trip to Asia in December — but I thought I'd get back to the «
basics» with this
post, featuring a relatively simple
outfit filled with
basic - but - classic pieces.
In this room, I plan upcoming blog content like organizing
outfits on my rolling rack of what I'm going to wear to
post, writing notes on my
Basic Invite stationery, taking
outfit photos on my Amazon Echo Look and creating vinyl stickers with my Silhouette Portrait like the monogram ones on my acrylic deskware!
But this couldn't continue any longer so I slipped into some closet
basics for this
outfit post.
You may have seen a recent
post about how I plan to add more color into my wardrobe, but whenever I'm traveling I like to stick with the
basics so I can create multiple
outfits using only a few pieces.

Last year, I
posted a fun little spread all about how you should celebrate this fab green - themed holiday by wearing a cool, greenish - themed
basic and simple

For instance, the two
