basics and the simple pieces that can be worn so many ways over both the fall and winter seasons!
We're featuring a very simple,
basic, crewneck cashmere
sweater from Lord & Taylor, but note that all Lord & Taylor cashmere
sweaters are
on crazy sales right now, some as low as $ 80 from $ 285.
The
sweater required a few other pieces to make a non-pantsless outfit, so I took the opportunity to stock up
on wardrobe
basics — which generally leads me to J. Crew.
For the most part, I would say may wardrobe is pretty
basic, consisting of my daily uniform of jeans and a tee or
sweater, but I love to spice it up with a twist
on the ordinary and a few accessories.
A black turtle neck
sweater has been
on my «to buy» list for a while now, but like you I'm particular when it comes to luxe
basics... they have to be just right.
Cos can be relied
on for good quality minimalist

sweaters.
I love the details

That's probably why when you see me
on a regular day I'll be wearing pretty much the same things: tapered pants, boyfriend jeans,
basic t - shirts or tank tops, simple non-stretch maxi dresses, oversized
sweaters and my most comfortable pair of shoes.
On the bright side, I plan to fully embrace the «
basic girl» stereotype this fall:
sweaters, scarves, flannels, duck boots, pumpkin spice.

Basic knitwear is a great alternative to a
sweater on freezing winter days.
For example,

on my lips and shoes and finished the look with a layered pearl necklace.

on stocking up
on basics such as jeans, simple
