The results reveal that one of the top reasons millennials work is to pay for

necessities like housing, food, and transportation — pretty standard — followed by earning enough money to pay for
traveling.
A majority of millennials (70 percent) say the desire to
travel is a primary reason to work, second only to paying for
basic necessities (88 percent).
Aside from paying for
basic necessities, millennials cited
travel as their number two reason for seeking flexible work options, much higher than generation x or baby boomer respondents.
