That's one of the reasons I like making it myself; this entire
batch of granola uses just 1/4 cup of maple syrup and 1/4 cup of coconut oil.
After these photos were taken, I made
another batch of granola using semi-sweet chocolate chips and I liked it decidedly better (but I hope you'll forgive me... I wasn't about to take the pictures all over again!).
