As you can see in the picture above, the Bold 9900's
battery door actually contains the NFC antenna.

door hybrid is never
actually powered via combustion, rather, there is a small gasoline engine that kicks in to refill the
battery if it is fully depleted while driving.
The most notable hardware configuration change is
actually the location of the microSD card slot under the
battery door cover, which has been flipped around so it doesn't pull out and get jammed into the
battery as it did with the Bold 9900 (I wonder if RIM made this change because of my issues with it).
