Turns out there's still a smidgen of untranslated Japanese text during a boss
battle near the end of the game.
There are even a few special tracks which play on
some battles near the end of the game which are particularly impressive, except perhaps for the final boss theme which loops over every twenty seconds.

Near the
end of my demo time with the
game, I experienced an introductory miniboss
battle starring Bowser Junior.
It's a truly wonderous
battle that will go down in the annals
of gaming history, and serves as a
near perfect
ending to the
game that's only tarnished by the fact that the
game then launches into another seriously long cutscene that feels over done.
It would be nice to be able to skip
battles and such without affecting your boss
battles when you get to what you think is
near the
end of an extremely long
game that you've been trying to play for wayyyy to long.
In fact, the only challenging opponents in Blue Dragon are the optional boss
battles that become available
near the
end of the
game.
As for the bosses, I don't think the
end of chapter boss
battles are anywhere
near as enjoyable as those encountered in other LEGO
games, nor are they as epic.
I worked on the attack on the first Death Star which was the first level in the
game and the space portion
of the
Battle of Endor which came
near the
end.
