for an initial public offering road show.»

No sooner had I finished my piece
for Faith magazine's last issue (in which, my readers may recall, I encouraged Polish Catholics to keep themselves at arms length from the secularised and indifferentist ethos
of many English dioceses) than news emerged that one English bishop at least had done something to try to address the
problem, and that he had in the process aroused the kind
of secularist hostility which
is, I strongly suspect, — certainly in this country — the only really reliable
sign that the Catholic Church
is being faithful to its vocation.

're right though, the system doesn't want to change, and people like me get stoned

The first
problem here
is that, minus
signs or not, the fluctuating growth rates
for the oldline churches (quite healthy growth during the postwar revival; decline during the 1970s; some recovery in the first half
of the «80s) tell us little if they
are not compared, and compared over a number
of decades, with the growth rates
for the conservative churches.

[The] report served the time - tested purpose: Whenever the system
is in crisis (or shows
signs of becoming transformed); whenever blacks get restless (or show strength); whenever whites in significant numbers show
signs of coming together with blacks to confront their mutual
problems (or enemies), the trick
is to shift the focus from the real struggle
for political and economic empowerment to black «crime,» degeneracy, pathology, and — in Moynihan's innovative twist — the «deterioration»
of the black family.

the guy loves this type
of players remember what he said about ozil a while back» if you love football you love ozil» im not worried about it i think that as soon as we
sign alexia & ozil santi will
be the next one in line in getting a new improved contract i, d like to think that if well managed if you could play
for us
for another 3 years at least look at tr7 injuries
were his
problem otherwise he still had the quality to play
for us in his last years!
but a t some point he lost it, and
is not because
of his stinginess to buy players, our core
is good and has
been for sometime now, his biggest
problem was adaptation, change to the new EPL, his philosophy dating back 20 years does not work anymore and he knows it, because
of this his biggest flaw all others came out to light, lack
of rotation
of his players favoring some over others, stubbornness that applies to his transfer policy buying
for the future just as he had 20 more years ahead, players playing out
of their natural positions, ARSENAL FLOPS who knows under other Managers they could have
been great,
for some reason they
were signed in the first place, they must had some talent, best example
is Campbell....
I get your point mate. But in truth Ramsey
is the CM and Xhaka
is the DM according to our formation anf tactic. It
's even debatable if Xhaka
is capable
of playing DM.I think Ramsey
's tactical awareness
is poor but he has every right to take risks and move into the opposition box.He
's a box to box player.The only
problem is Ramsey overdoes it.If we had a proper CDM the team would
be more balanced.Now it
's like we have two CM
's playing in midfield and due to their poor tactical awareness we
're always left exposed.I conclude by reminding people that Wilshere
is better footballer and
is more intelligent than Xhaka.It'll
be better playing Wilshere and pairing him with a CDM than having Xhaka play there. He just gets to play over him becausr we
signed him
for # 35.
Problem is fans
are usually desperat to

They
are not rumours.They
are things that
are actually happening.I
'm only giving you the facts which will eventually come out.If I
was any other fan I would've
been applauded
for a lot
of deals coming before time.The

been few.

is an obvious solution to the

sign another top quality striker and defender to strengthen these key areas and take the pressure off the likes
of Walcott, Mertesacker and the manager himself.
It
's been reported in the past by the Mirror that Dortmund won't accept any offers

be deemed as fairly low in today
's current transfer market.

This window
is especially interesting given all the drama
of the season so far, Martin O'Neill and Alan Curbishley get their hands on some real money
for the first time in their managerial careers, Chelsea get to address apparent squad depth
problems, Manchester United can try to
sign someone who isn't super old, and we
're guessing Harry Redknapp
is going to pick up a couple more dodgy deals
for Portsmouth, while Reading, Sheffield United and Watford will hopefully spring a surprise or two.
One
of the 2

I know Arsenal all too well and trust me we would've still lost.A lot
of people think this Arsenal squad isn't good enough to win the league but I beg to differ.Give this same squad to Rafa Benitez or any world class manager even without any
signing before the transfer window ends and watch us play like you've never seen before. The
problem in this team has always
been tactics, mentality and mismanagement.This
is what has really
been disturbing us
for several seasons but alwas goes ignored.Mark my words that if Arsenal get everyone they
're supposed to we
're not winning the league if those three things aren't checked. We need
signings but our
problem is much bigger than
signings.Give this same squad to Klopp or a too manager and you'd
be shocked some players who
were called average will
be playing differently. You know why?Strong mentality, proper management and good tactics count.
It
was a real bow
for Arsenal, but just about typical
of our terrible luck with injury
problems in recent years, to see the January transfer window
signing Gabriel limp out
of action in the win over QPR last Wednesday.
Arsenal have already
signed a midfielder
of course but that
is the area
of the pitch that has
been the hardest hit by our injury
problems, and so we
are still
being linked with various other players
for those positions.
Central midfield has
been a
problem area
for van Gaal at times this season and
signing Delph would bring the energy to the side that has
been missing
for large spells
of the campaign.
The
problem with Wenger
is he
is not ruthless enough, Sanchez and Ozil wo n`t
sign new contracts so they do not to
be at Arsenal so sell them instead
of hanging on, he gives some players too many chances and these 2
are stopping others that want to
be there a spot, we have a good team with many good players that want to play
for the club.
What that teaches us
is this, one bad
signing can destroy a team season, Xhaka possesses none
of the credential Arsenal need his lack
of stamina effects his ability to move up the pitch and distribute the ball and hence close the opposition down, his poor acceleration put him in at a massive disadvantage in taking on the one on one chase back toward his goal, his sluggish tackling causes him to get sent off and his poor positioning allow the opposition plenty
of space to exploit, Xhaka overall style
of play
is going to cause Arsenal huge
problems for the foreseeable future.
At times this season, and pretty crucial times as well, Arsene Wenger has
been left with almost no options
for the centre
of the Arsenal midfield, Cazorla
is out
for the season after playing a big role in our good early form and there have also
been injury
problems for Coquelin, Ramsey and Elneny, while the summer
signing Granit Xhaka has missed a fair few games himself
for disciplinary reasons.
If khedira has any sense he will run in the opposite direction why would he want to
sign for a bunch
of losers him alone would not solve our
problems he
is not a holding midfielder which we
are crying out
for and we need at least 2 more defenders to even get anywhere near having enough quality to challenge
for anything!
3 > CHELSEA»S GARY CAHILL

OF THIER BLOCKS AND AGAIN INJURIES

SIGNING A DEFENSIVE MID AND A CB

FOR THE TEAM 7 > WHEN YOU HAVE A SUMMER TO PREPARE
FOR THE SEASON KICKOFF YOU DO N'T WASTE IT BY NOT SOLVING YOUR
PROBLEMS 8 > ARSENE WENGER WILL
BE IN THE SHADOW
OF MOURINHO ALL TIMES.
The
problem is that any new manager will want to make their own
signings to fit their own style like Pochettino did at our friends down the road, but I doubt if Kroenke will make the funds available
for that, plus other staff will need to
be brought in, ideally at board level, to fill the other roles that Wenger does, like a director
of football and / or technical director.
Should this even
be a topic?Giroud
is a player
of average quality always surrounded by good players.I just don't get.It
's as if only Arsenal fans rate him. This
was a player who
was bought to
be the leading striker at Arsenal and after his years
of failure which many deny he
's now become a super sub?How laughable
is that. From failure to super sub.If the so called world class striker we
're signing goes out with an injury
for about five months who comes in then.It seems to me people lack vision. Why
is it always Giroud Giroud Giroud? After so many seasons people
are still debating what souldn't even
be debatable.I've lost count
of the number
of times he
's been talked about here.This
is the
problem with our club.It
's just not ruthless.This
is a player who should have
been gone long ago but due to him
being French he still gets the chances. We won't miss him when he goes and I'd like to see if he'd stand out in a smaller club.
The good news
for Arsenal and the bad news
for Celta
is that Nolito has not only stated that there
is a
problem and he won't
be signing, but he also revealed the amount
of his release clause, as the Evening Standard have reported.
We
're going to waste time and money on a CB when we should
be looking
for a top class DM.If Wenger think
signing another CB
is solving our
problems then he
's lying to himself.Mark my words any other CB we
sign no matter how good will still come and add to a shaky defense. The
problem with our defenfing
is more
of tactical and mental.Tactical because we play without a DM, we mark and track players poorly, the fullbacks
are usually isolated leaving them to cope alone, our passing
is not good enough leaving us exposed to counters which we aren't prepared
for and no leadership and maintenance
of defensive shape.
Funny how Chelsea's players can cope with hamstring
problems and continue, whilst our players show no
signs of injury then all
of a sudden they
're out
for a month or more...
For the first time as a Blues manager Mourinho failed to win a single piece
of silverware last season and
was quick to address the
problem by
signing Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas.
Even when there
's a bargain like delli alli (5mil) van dijk (10mil Celtic) they just don't seem to know how to get bargains no more it
's like if there a free transfer then Wenger licks his lips but if they cost 2mil 4mil Wenger can't afford to risk it like when he turned down the chance to
sign lemar Mendy kante
for a combined 12mil bcoz 12mil
is a lot
of money to a club like arsenal apparently but Stan can take 6mil out
of the club no
problem!
That
's what
is getting up everyones nose 3 key
signings would galvanise the squad and solve a good deal
of the
problems we have, 3
signings and Wenger wouldn't really have to spend anything significant again
for maybe three years, but all we hear
is he
is dithering about paying peanuts
for some 17 year old polish kid who may
be the next Patrick Viera but equally may not
be.
Nevertheless, it doesn't appear as though it will
be a simple process in
signing one
of his preferred targets, with both Fabinho and Coleman coming with their own complications to ensure that it could
be a frustrating process
for United in their bid to identify and
sign a long - term solution to their right - back
problem.
You don't get my point... What I mean by doing the same thing over and over again
is that Arsenal has had the opportunity to
sign excellent players (you can't have enough
of those)... but year after year, we only fix 1
problem while 3 more
problems haunt us
for the rest
of the season.
There
are many factors that come into play, but the first
sign of any «
problem»
is great fodder
for the non - changers / believers to rally around and run your a $ $ out
of town if need
be.
It
is the same year after year with all 3 points and we can forget any chances
of a championship with Wenger in charge, because he has had the
problems for at least 10 years, and the small
signs of improvement this year have now disappeared.
In contrast, the
signing of Neymar would
be ideal
for the reigning Spanish and European champions, as with Bale's injury
problems, Karim Benzema's lack
of consistency and Cristiano Ronaldo not getting any younger, they may well need a new attacking star to become the new face
of the club before long.
that
's the
problem there he should
of been pointing the finger in fact two fingers to who ever
is to blame
for missing out on
signing of great players
for so little
You
are 100 % right but i think the
problem with the fans (me incl)
is that Arsenal / Arsene should
of signed more players in the summer with the money we had in the bank to give us the depth to rotate and not have players injured 40 %
of the time leaving us on the edge
of exploding playing at 60 %
for 2 months solid in a very much tighter premier league where even so called smaller teams have more money, bought better players and
are not easy to beat these days.
