In addition to calling your representatives, consider attending a town hall, writing letters the editor of your local paper, connecting with the local Democratic Party to help with voter registration efforts and to challenge voter suppression / gerrymandering, and (because it

Every once

He will not venture high up the pitch because his slow

long and
too quickly, this
is also a problem for arsenal

This
is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it
's former self, only to
be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions
are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but
too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely
runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud
was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances
was relatively low (
better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin
's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which
was obvious to Wenger because there
was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball
too long, gives the ball away cheaply far
too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that
being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so
too... Xhaka
is a little
too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his
long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit
better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he
is way
too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far
too often... let
's face it Wenger
was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this
was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he
's been played out of position far
too many times since arriving and that the players
in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team
's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus
too heavily on one individual... this player
was a passing «specialist»
long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who
are on the injury table
too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit
too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would
be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball
too long and he will give the ball up a little
too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that
is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there
is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter...
too slow,
too inefficient and way
too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he
's lack of mobility
is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would
be our
best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other
was just sold to Juve... man, this
is theraputic because following this team
is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Like Wilshere, Ramsay
is injury prone, but when match fit he
is one of the top attacking midfielders
in the EPL.His
running off the ball makes him very difficult to pick up and he
is a
good creator and finisher.He
is a very important cog
in the Arsenal team and hopefully he will extend his contract before
too long.
there
is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments
in the formative years of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this club... there have
been numerous managers at each of the biggest clubs
in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each
were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective clubs... of course that doesn't mean that clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if clubs of note have become
too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should
be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a changing of the guard...
in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse
was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar
too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market
is lean and vacancies
are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there
is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football club it
's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they,
in most cases we have
been around far
longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the
best, do you place the
best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you
run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could
be worse or do you stand up for what you believe
in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your
being tells you that something
is rotten
in the state of Denmark
The biggest problem has

in on average players: Iwobi, welbeck, theo, chambers, holding and player other players on wrong position Monreal and not give opportunity to
good footballer Perez and Campell also you have
been holding
too much power from transfer, players contracts, arsenal finances as a whole and now all that BS start to backfire
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times
are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once
in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost
too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills
are enough to keep them squarely
in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the
best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike...
in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the
best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each
were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the
best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever
was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there
is no doubt oftentimes his efforts
were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has
been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens
in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far
too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam,
was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch
was Sanchez... remember to
be considered a world - class set - up man goals need to
be scored and for much of his time here he has
been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers...
in the end, I
'm not sure how
long he will
be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it
be if once again we didn't put our
best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't
be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not
be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that
are truly to blame for our current woes
But Davis slotting

runs.

Short term studies of muscle hypertrophy with untrained or lightly trained subjects
is not the
best way,
in my opinion, to evaluate the
long term effectiveness of a strength training program because a) the study
is too short to form a
long term conclusion, b) untrained and lightly trained subjects gain muscle from any resistance training (for example, I, as a young non-exercising man, gained 20 lbs of muscle
in my first 4 months
in the Army by doing nothing but high rep calisthenics,
running, and road marching) and c) muscle hypertrophy
is not a great proxy (substitute) for determining actual
long term strength gains.
The science
is clear that high quality saturated and mono unsaturated fats
are better for you than poly unsaturated and trans fats, and it also seems clear that eating small amounts of these high - quality fats may
be beneficial... But there
is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that basing one's diet on these fats
is beneficial
in the
long run, and there
is several decades» worth of research to suggest that eating
too much fat and animal products
is linked to cardiovascular disease.

While the choreography
is generally fairly minimal (at least for this sort of mega-production), first time film director Phyllida Lloyd (who helmed the original stage version) has woven together a tightly edited and exceedingly
well shot film that capitalizes on the music wonderfully while never worrying
too much about such nettlesome items as character or motivation, providing enough other movement that one ultimately doesn't miss huge dance numbers a la Robbins or Fosse that much

- the game
's shading mechanism has changed, which allows for increased gear texture quality - all graphical aspects and programming mechanisms have been built up from scratch for this sequel - maximum resolution is 1080p in TV mode - a bigger focus for Nintendo was the 60 frames per second - occasionally the resolution will be scaled down when there is too much ink displaying on the screen - Nintendo reduced the CPU load and refined the way to use CPU power effectively to maintain 60 fps in all matches - weapons were tweaked to let players be more creative by thinking about unique weapon characteristics and their best uses - weapons are designed to be effective when they are used during the right occasion - Special weapons are stronger than the original ones when used in the right situation, but weaker otherwise - the damage and effect of slowing down your movement when you step in the opponent's ink are reduced from original - you can jump up in rank if you're good enough, but only up until S - you can't jump up from C, B or A to S + - when you win battles in Ranked mode, the Ranked meter fills and your rank goes up when its fully filled - when you lose a battle, the gauge does not decrease, but the meter starts to crack - once the meter reaches its limit, it breaks - when the meter breaks, you have to start over again from the beginning or from a lower rank - highest rank is still S +, but if you fill up the Ranked meter, you get numbers after the alphabet such as «S +1», «S +2» and so on - maximum number is «S +50», but this number will not be displayed to your opponent - you are the only one to see it, and you can check it on your own status screen - Ranked Power is calculated by an algorithm to measure how strong each player is with minuteness - this will determine if a player's rank is worthy of receiving a big jump (like from «C» to «A»)- Ranked Power has no relation to your splat rate, and is more tied into to how well you lead your team to victory - you won't drop off more than one rank even if you play poorly - stage rotation time was changed to two hours - this was done because the devs expected people to play for an hour or so, but they found people play much longer - with Salmon Run, Nintendo considered how to implement a co-op oriented mode in a player - versus - player type of game - the devs will monitor how users are playing this mode to see if there's some tweaks they can throw in - more Salmon Run maps will be added in the future, but Nintendo wouldn't comment on adding more enemy types to the mode - rewards are changed each time Salmon Run is played - you can obtain rewards when playing locally, but not gear - originally Nintendo had an idea for this mode, but had no background setting, enemy designs, etc. - Inoue suggested that it should be salmon - themed - when Nintendo hosted the Splatfest that pit Callie against Marie, the development of Splatoon 2 had started - the devs had already decided to have the result reflected in the sequel - they even had an idea to announce the Splatfest with a phrase «Your choice will change the next Splatoon» - the timing to announce a sequel wasn't right, so they decided against this - they eventually released a series of short stories about the Squid Sisters to show how the Splatfest affected the sequel's story - Nintendo wouldn't say if Marina is an Octoling, and noted that Inklings are not paying attention to this too much - Inklings don't care about appearances, as long as everyone is doing something fresh - the Squid Sisters had composers who produced their songs, but Off the Hook are composing their music by themselves - Pearl is genius artist, but she couldn't find a right partner because she's a bit too edgy - she eventually found Marina as a partner though, and their chemistry is sparkling right now - Nintendo is planning a year of content updates for Splatoon 2 - when finished, the quantity of stages will be more than the original - some of the additional stages are totally new and some will be arranged stages from the first game - not all original stages will return and they are choosing stages based on the potential for them to be improved - Brella is shotgun-esque weapon, so the ink hits your opponent more if you are closer - it can shield damage when you open it, but the amount of damage has a limit and once it reaches it, it breaks - you can shoot ink, but you can't use the shield feature when it breaks - the shield won't prevent your allies ink - there are more new weapon categories which haven't been revealed yet - there are no other ranked modes outside of the three current options - the future holds any sort of possibility, but the devs didn't get specific about adding more content like that - for the modes, they adjusted the rule designs so that players will experience the more interesting aspect
s shading mechanism has changed, which allows for increased gear texture quality - all graphical aspects and programming mechanisms have

, you
are lying on the floor of your place looking up, a small draft
runs through the room, between the door and the window, and all things seem perfectly still, wind only disturbs concrete
in imperceptible ways, or it may take millions of years to
be noticed and, as the air
runs through the space, all your plants move and all
is animated and all
is alive somehow, and here
are the thoughts of all men
in all ages and lands, they
are not original with me, and that wind upon your plants
is the common air that bathes the globe, and we have no ambitions of universalism, and I
'm glad we don't, but the particles of air bring traces of pollen and
are charged with electricity, desert sand, maybe sea water, and these particles
were somewhere else before they
were dragged here, and their route will not end by the door of this house, and if we tell each other stories, one can imagine that they might have
been bathed by this same air, regrouped and recombined, recharged as a vehicle for sound, swirling as it moves, bringing the sound of a drum, like that Kabuki story where a fox recognizes the voice of its parents as a girl plays a drum made out of their skin, or any other event, and yet I always felt your work never tells stories, I tend to think that narrative implies a past tense, even if that past
was just five seconds ago, one second ago
was already the past, and human memory
is irrelevant
in geological time, plants and fish know not what tomorrow will bring, neither rocks nor metal do, but we all live here now, and we all need visions and we all need dreams, and as
long as your metal sculptures vibrate they
are always
in the Present, and their past
is a material truth alien to narrative, but
well, maybe narrative does not imply a past tense at all and they
are writing their own story while they gently move and breathe, and maybe nothing
was really still before the wind came
in, passing through the window as if through an irrational portal to make those plants dance, but everything
was already moving and breathing
in near complete silence, and if you
're focused enough you can feel the pulse of a concrete wall and you can feel the tectonic movements of the earth, and you can hear the magma flowing under our feet and our bones crackling like a wild fire, and you can see the light of fireflies reflected
in polished metal, and there
is nothing magical about that, it
is just the way things
are, and sometimes we have to raise our voice because the music
is too loud and let your clothes move to a powerful bass, sound waves and bright lights, powerful like the sun, blinding us if we stare for
too long, but isn't it the biggest sign of love, like singing to a corn field, and all acts of kindness that
are not pitiful nor utilitarian, that
are truly horizontal as everything around us
is impregnated with the deadliest violence, vertical and systemic, poisonous, and sometimes you just want to feel the sun burning your skin and look for life
in all things declared dead, a kind of vitality that operates like corrosion, strong as the wind near the sea, transforming all things,
One of the
best lines
in the post
was, «Energy
is also transferred through vertical motion (convection), evaporation, and condensation
too (latent heat), but that doesn't affect this picture, as they all act to restore the vertical structure toward the hydrostatically stable lapse rate
in the
long run.»
Conclusion Yep,
in the
long -
run grannie (and her grandchildren
too)
are * FAR *
better - off embracing photovoltaics than coal - burning...
better off economically...
better off scientifically...
better off ecologically...
better off morally!
It can deliver
better outcomes than coal, but gas must continue to work on reducing its fugitive emissions and there
is a possibility that if it reaches
too large a share of the energy mix then
in the
longer run this could still
be incompatible with a 2 ⁰ C outcome»
If the goal
is to reduce fossil fuel use over a period of 50 - 100 years, then spending
too much
too soon
is probably counter-productive
in the
long run, and the
best approach
is slowly to introduce wind and solar and hydro and nuclear as the technologies
are continually improved.
If you
're interested
in a solar electric system for your home and you live
in a state with
good incentives, it
's always a
better idea to act sooner rather than later — programs
run out of funding,
are designed to scale back over time, or reach their megawatt - capacity goals eventually, and if you wait
too long you might find yourself stuck without access to those funds.
As
in other energy - related issues, I think the
best approach
in the
long run will
be to continue to research, invent, and develop as many alternative storage technologies as we can, and not bet
too soon on which exactly will
be cheapest and most reliable 20 years from now.
