Being «safe rather than sorry» is a completely selfish motivation then, and I'd rather live my life unselfishly and risk the remote chance of hell than choose to accept beliefs that I can't justify in our modern society, some of which actually hurt others, just to save my butt.

Some examples: 1) the passenger in front of us on our first flight, whom when my daughter was crying while we waited to take off and I said something aloud such as «I'll nurse her once we take off and then she'll be quiet», had to tell everyone around us that she was a nurse and that I was essentially a bad mom to not nurse my baby during takeoff (sorry lady, but the reason I bought her a seat was for her to be in her car seat during takeoff as it's much safer than in my arms nursing).

Im not saying u will do all this for every loan but then again there are various places u might want to be safe than sorry if you as a lender are not confident.
