Chadli, whose other goal in his impressive recent run came in last weekend's 3 - 1 win
at Crystal Palace, can evidently finish, but
is he good enough to
be the
main back - up
striker for a club with Premier League title ambitions?
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like
at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not
been clinical. The only way a team can improve
is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the
main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a
main cf you need to
be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of play
is ok for us but a
striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should
be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he
is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always
be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey
at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?

's why they did not succeed as the
main strikers at Arsenal.

I even thought top clubs
were in for him. Some three or 2 seasons back many here
were debating why he should
be our
main striker. As soon as you mention any other
strikers name people would come out with stats and many things defending him.Even Wenger has defended him blindly in the past.People say Wenger
's stubborn yeah. But don't we know that there
's a reason why everything happens?Honestly speaking he
's the reason why Arsene Wenger has failed to sign a top notch
striker because he still believes in him.The funny thing
is we signed Welbeck
at that time who to me did nothing before to
be the
main man here.People keep saying Welbeck
is hardworking and that he works his socks off.But the question
is was that our reason for signing him.Welbeck
being signed to challenge Giroud tells me a lot about Giroud
's quality.Even Walcott (no offence to him) who has zero CF qualities
was even chosen over him for a string of games and all in all I think he did well but has too many defeciencies for that role. We've compromised as a club and it'll come back to bite us.
Two players battling for the

are very talented and would add depth to our squad, however as far as

striker but sign a guy who has mastered the position in
at least one of Europe's
main leagues and preferably in the PL.
It
's officially August and we still have made only 1 key signing... I HOPE wenger does spend more money and get the
striker we need and DM... DM6 there

been liked with Busquets but my
main concern
is the
striker out targets have all said they
are staying

Paradoxically, I believe that the
main cause of our failure to win the League
was not our away performances but rather the failure

strikers from February through to April — when because of fatigue, injuries and a collective loss of confidence — the players just weren't strong enough to deal with it.
Anyone else feel that should we not sign a
striker, and should Walcott fail to make the position his own, Welbeck should

Not surprisingly some players wilted under the combination of all these pressures and its effects
were noticeably severe on the form and confidence of those
at the sharp end of action — our 3

at home.
It would have
been a big help to Arsenal and our chances of winning the Premier League this season if Leicester City had managed to beat Chelsea or

are aiming for better
striker (
s) and now close your eyes before looking

main striker for 3 long years and another one seems to
be on the pipeline... that said it all
We have ONLY one
main striker and if he
's not in the form that he should
be (because he
's not the
striker we need to win the PL) then we have no one who can really seek out the oppositions net, The last two games we have
been mediocre
at best Im still NOT convinced that Wenger still has the magic he once had despite a massive improvement in form
One of the big stories in the Premier League today
was probably received pretty well by a lot of Arsenal fans, because with Manchester United coming to play us

Some people
are comparing morata to giroud, first he
's much more younger
at 23 years, secondly he hasn't really played as d
main striker with all the backings giroud has enjoyed, he
's a potential
at his age and has played in two of d best leagues With clubs like JUVE and Madrid, he
's a big game player, he
's fast and skillful.
At Liverpool, he
was the
main striker.
Wenger lost the plot when he brought in Giroud... what about the beautiful game involves having a lumbering
striker who
's main attribute
is holding up play... our success with Wenger, and even before, came with pace and clinical striking up front, having a boss in the midfield and having physically imposing CBs... what about Wright, Bergkamp, Anelka, Henry or RVP remind anyone of Giroud (minus the left foot of course)... the formula
was broken, which didn't have to
be the end of our success, but when you adopt half - measures you can't expect things just to work themselves out on their own...
at the very least Wenger should have brought in some wingers that can consistently cross the ball and then spend significantly more time addressing our lack of success with set pieces... ultimately this
is why we continued to struggle with consistency and continued to constantly play people in the wrong positions
We need

main striker and

Vardy
was suppose to
be our
main CF target but Wenger never spoke to Vardy and it
was a bit of a joke about how little Wenger appeared to care about that transfer, Perez confirmed that Arsenal looked
at him
at the beginning of the transfer window and we waited till the end to panic buy a
striker,
was this a Wenger signing?

is the
main reason Hoffenheim currently sit
at the top of the Bundesliga; the loss of the
striker to United could
be catastrophic for the club.
not forgetting his not signing a new contract, Walcott could
be our Ole Gunnar Solsjaer, those of you who don't know who i
'm talking about Ole use to play for Man - U he
was very successful sub player he would come on in around the 70th mnt and almost always scored a goal, many clubs wanted him as their
main striker but Ole
was happy
at his club, position and terms, i think with Walcott's pace and
being fresh around the 70 mnt he could do well for his club, but we all know he wont except that role
All I
'm saying
is that Lacazette should
at least
be used as often and the same way other top teams use their
main strikers.
Giroud does not deserve to lead the arsenal line next season. He should
be replaced do u know why?It
is because he
is always going to miss a lot of chances and will cost us.people who support him to lead the line have not studied his game clearly.every season he will continue to cost us.But
at least i wont say he
is useless or something.He
is on the pitch and gives his all so he
is useful.He
is not clinical and not good
at all.He
is a
striker who
is just above average but sometimes even performs below average in his 3 years over here.
Be honest and say it as it
is.Some people use stats to constantly defend him yet if you watch him you will
be shocked.Walcott can lead the line he has everything to.but as i said he lacks the aggressiveness and physique to
be the
main man.that will go against him so many times.so its better for him to remain on the wings.Giroud does not deserve it.We all know that.
Another player that benefited from playing for Arsenal
is Giroud, a second choice
at Arsenal but plays as France's
main striker.
I've had enough of this crap, look I honesty do think giroud
is a good
striker and he
is a fairly consistant goal scorer, and every time he played for arsenal he gave 100 percent and I think we all appreciated the way he
was, a true professional, but to say we as fans
were too critical of him or that he didn't have enough of a chance
at arsenal
is just absolute bullshit, first of all he has scored more headed goals than any other player in the prem since he arrived in 2012 so we did play to his strengths and he
was our
main striker for four long years and every pundit on sky and motd has
at one point said Giroud
is not enough for arsenal to win the title ect, but, now we have sold him he
is apparently the best thing since sliced bread and the best buy of the transfer window blah blah fuc * # * g blah.
