beach weekend so far this year since the weather finally hit the 80s!

I made this bread for a
beach trip this past
weekend, OMG
so wonderful!!!! I did omit the eggs (mil has major egg allergies) and added a dash of milk to bind everything together, and it was very well received!!!!
I'll be spending my extra day off doing blogging and health coaching work instead, running some errands, cleaning, going for a hike at our nearby favorite park, and taking my Batpuppy to the vet (just for an annual thing)... Backing it up to the beginning of the
weekend, I kicked off my post-work Friday with a trip to the Del Mar dog
beach on another 90 degree day: I love it at the dog

SO EXCITED.
It was nearly 100 degrees Fahrenheit all
weekend,
so it was either air conditioning or the
beach for activities.
We had a rental car for the
weekend and honestly had
so much fun just driving around the neighborhoods in East Hampton and Amagansett admiring at all the beautiful homes and
beaches.
We splurged on the Loews South
Beach and I am
so excited to spend a long
weekend reading by the pool and ocean with a drink in my hand.

I've also been heading to the

We just recently planned our family
beach trip, but I've had a trip planned this summer for my best friend's bachelorette
weekend, for a while,
so I've been grabbing all of the cute
beach things that I can!
It has been really hot these past few days
so I spent the entire
weekend near the
beach, clad in either tiny bikinis or tiny dresses like this one.
So other then a lazy picnic on the
beach Sunday, I spent most of the
weekend sleeping or watching Friends re-runs and wishing my mom lived closer.

Though it's hot and there is a very sad lack of

Last month I went on a
weekend trip to Venice
Beach in LA and I had
SO MUCH FUN.
June gloom was kinda in full force over the
weekend in Southern Cali,
so I traded in my
beach gear for a little mix more in tune with the weather.
Other than the toe mishap, Jonny and I are
so excited to be heading to New York this
weekend to see our friends get hitched and spend some time at the
beach.
We go out to Fire Island for the
weekends a lot during the summer
so I try to just pack things I can reuse like a chambray top as a
beach cover - up and then as an extra layer at night or my Jack Rogers sandals as my one shoe for the
beach and for dinner.
I have been meaning to do this post for a while now and since forgetting my makeup bag this past

beach, I realized how attached I am to my beauty products

i have a very busy
weekend ahead of me,
so i won't be taking any day trips to the
beach just yet, but at least i have a few outfits planned juuuust in case.
We all live in different parts of the country now,

so nice to just relax on the
