Maybe I got lucky, but I threw some
beans into the food processor along with a bunch of other ingredients until it tasted, looked, and felt like
brownie batter.
Inspired by black
bean brownie recipes (like this one and this one), I made a healthy
brownie batter that acts as the wet mixture for the granola.
I use a food processor to make these
brownies because it makes the
batter (including the
beans) nice and smooth.
Of course, this not your regular
brownie batter, it's made with organic black
beans and is free of dairy, gluten, and refined sugar.
