I don't design recipes to mimic meat, but this quinoa and
black bean combination is coincidentally quite similar to ground beef.
There are many restaurants specializing in fresh seafood (lobster and conch are plentiful and inexpensive when in season) and the Belizean national dish (spicy stewed chicken, served with a delicious rice and
bean combination cooked in coconut milk.)
I've never really known what to do with ramps, but
this bean combination on toast sounds divine.
Beat
the bean combination into the mix of the flour on low — medium speed till the batter is blended well; fold in walnut.
