So whenever I would see vanilla
bean paste on a recipe that I really wanted to make, I would just pout and not make it.
I have seen the vanilla
bean paste on the stands at the grocery, but I've never bought it due to sugar being the first ingredient!
My favorite flavor would have to be green tea with red
bean paste on top.

And since I still want to use the vanilla
bean paste that I made a while back, I decided
on some vanilla
bean cupcakes.
Place the vanilla
bean paste, scraped vanilla
bean, chopped sage leaves, and milk of choice in a saucepan
on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture is almost boiling.
Add the milk and vanilla
bean paste to your slow cooker, cover and cook
on low for 2 hours.
