Last year, we were dining out and enjoyed some fava
bean spread on toast at a local restaurant.
If you want to make a heartier sandwich, just spread the zesty
bean spread on bread and top with lettuce, tomato, and grilled chicken or grilled veggies.
To assemble the torta: Cut the bread in half and spread 1/4 cup of black
bean spread on the bottom side.
Examples of protein sources include lean chicken breast left over from the night before, kidney beans or refried
beans spread on a whole - wheat tortilla.

on slices of bread, then dollop a generous amount of the
bean mixture over them (you can do those steps in reverse order as well —
bean spread first, then tomatoes).
To assemble,

on each pita or flatbread.
My fridge is almost never without some kind of creamy
bean spread, and when it is, typically that means my food processor is spinning
on the counter.
The menu started off with a healthful, vegetarian take

beans on each piece of bread and top with a few pieces of coconutty shrimp (we don't mind eating the tales, but you can remove them if you'd like).
Warm Dips and Crackers Buffalo chicken dip, spinach - artichoke dip, warm Tex - Mex style
bean dip, cheese dip, baked seafood dip: you could have an entire appetizer
spread of nothing more than hot dips and food to eat it
on.

bean spread.
Our
beans, with 20 % pulp and still encased inside the parchment envelope (the endocarp), are Hawaii sun dried by
spreading them
on drying tables inside under 20 % sunshade cloth that is roled back in the warm days.
