beans that I don't use nearly enough, here is a recipe
for white
bean stew with pumpkin and kale.
I found this recipe
for a tomato - based white
bean stew, and I've tweaked it slightly to give it a bit more flavor and depth.
And finally, Summer
bean stew with chickpeas — which I haven't made
for ages and peppers are just coming into season so it's time to try it again...
Simmer
for another 30 minutes, stirring every so often until the
stew has reduced slightly, and the onions, corn and butterbeans / lima
beans / peas are tender.
You can even substitute it, one
for one,
for fresh tomato
for most dishes on this blog that incorporate a cooked tomato element, like Eggplant Fatteh,
Stewed Green

I added the frozen green
beans when called

I love vegan chili that consists mainly of
