Once your Pampered and
beautiful head over to dinner at one of my favorite places The Melting Pot in
Coral Springs.
I can't tell you the amount of times I've gotten a tip from someone who just came out of the water about a
beautiful school of fish, a feeding turtle, or spectacular hidden
coral head.
One day the boat could be
heading north to one of the sites with
beautiful corals, an abundance of reef fish as well as the occasional turtle and on the next day the boat may
head south to find the mantas, the seahorse at crystal bay and if lucky also a mola mola.
Palm Cove has a very gentle slope as you enter the water which is safe for all age groups, and in just a few metres out you have enough depth to get your
head under to float around in the
beautiful Coral Sea.
Possible sites include: Bandit Ledge: The gentle hills and ridges of this site support a surprising amount of
beautiful cauliflower
corals Garden Eel Cove: The slow drop - off ends in a sandy bottom covered with graceful garden eels Anglers: A
beautiful archway housing a big family of lionfish High Rock: A massive ridge capped by a pinnacle rising to within 10 feet (approx. 3 meters) of the water's surface Anchor Drag: A maze of canyons, arches small caverns provide enjoyable exploration of the lobsters, crabs, shrimp and puffer fish who live here North Golden Arches: The main attraction is a rock arch with scattered
coral heads throughout the area South Golden Arches: A large rock arch with a sandy area, housing numerous marine animals Harlequin: A great spot for a deep dive to see large schools of fish Kaloko Arches: The main attractions here are the unique rock outcroppings and lava formations Turtle Pinnacle: One of best sites to find green sea turtles Eel Cove: Interesting and rapid drop - off for deep diving Thunder Reef: Good spot for viewing deep - water animals West Kaiwi: This dive site is one of the best for observing fish, with lots of
coral and a nearby drop - off Please note: This is not an introductory dive.
SIDE STREETS: A
beautiful dive site consisting of dozens of
coral heads covered in life — almost too much to take in on 10 dives — let alone 1.
NUSA PENIDA DIVESD is a
beautiful dive site with large
coral heads and a huge variety of marine life.
Chabil Mar is also the perfect place to
head out for fun on the Belize Barrier Reef, a stretch of the Caribbean filled with
coral reefs, sandy atolls, and
beautiful islands surrounded by clear blue water teeming with colorful fish and marine fauna.
Some of the highlights included gorgonian sea fans themselves,
beautiful soft
coral formations and animals like Whitetip Reef Shark, Oriental and Diagonal - banded Sweetlips, and two variations of the Denise Pygmy Seahorse, one of them known only from the Birds
Head Seascape region, which includes Raja Ampat.
Really nice hard
coral formations there and the Yap Cavern is actually a big cut into the wall with a whole bunch of huge
coral heads and then you can swim through a maze and through tunnels with white sandy floor and you see a very large school of bumphead parrot fish in there in the morning and some really
beautiful anemones and soft
corals.
The
coral heads are covered with interesting sea vegetation that makes a
beautiful seascape.
Next, it's time to
head to Genovesa Island for Darwin Bay with its
beautiful coral beach.
