Getting a little frustrated
because Glo - BULL Warming isn't going the way you want any more?
And that's a shame,
because Glo really does have a lot to offer.
Just
because glo can be super bright doesn't mean it as to be super bright, from what i've seen at like 1:20 it's mostly like paperwhite at like 70 % brightness and you guys should have done the review at that configuration.
This becomes a bit trickier to answer
because the Glo HD is considered an entry level device.

I think the main reason Kobo rushed the
Glo HD to the market was
because of the overwhelming success of the premium Kindle Voyage.
Plus there's less chance that you'll break your device
because you don't have to take it apart to swap out the internal memory card, like what happened to my Kobo
Glo — the power switch stopped working after I took it apart.
The primary reason the discount is now perpetual is
because of the recent release of the Kobo
Glo HD.
American customers should purchase the
Glo HD from the main Chapters / Indigo website

The Kobo
Glo does its best not to force you into the full, intimidating store front of the Kobo virtual bookshop — intimidating
because like all E-ink devices, browsing the thing is fairly slow.
The
Glo HD is a bit of a downgrade in this regard
because it employs a sunken screen.

Because there is no EPUB support, I'm not buying it, but if it did I would buy it over the Kobo

I have returned 5 Aura HD's
because they all had bright spots and that's why I love my Kobo
Glo that much: no spits on that device!
Kobo is using their older
Glo and Touch Screen e-readers in their efforts to expand into international markets,
because of the lower price point on outdated components.
My Kobo
Glo HD developed a vertical line under the screen, not
because I dropped it or mishandled it.
This is more or less why Amazon currently leads the pack
because most of the industry still uses infrared lighting (Kobo
Glo HD, Nook Glowlight etc).
When my Kobo
glo died (after 486 hours of working well, the battery decided not to recharge any more), I was quite concerned
because of all the complaints on the Web.
Now where i think you guys screwed up is
because you made
glo look worst and i really don't get why.
It didn't really make much sense for Kobo to discontinue the
Glo HD
because now they don't have a 6 - inch model with a high - res screen to compete with all the other 300 ppi ereaders.
Just make sure the cover you're looking to get is for the
Glo «HD» specifically and not the regular first edition Kobo
Glo (the non-HD model)
because they are different sizes.
Personally, I prefer the Kobo
Glo's display
because my eyes adjust best to its highest brightness setting and I even find the Paperwhite's display to be too dim for my taste.

Kobo decided to use a faster 1Ghz processor with the Kobo
Glo and that was a good choice
because it provides a noticeable speed boost over the Kobo Touch and Kobo Mini.
Don't worry, you'll find more covers than you think
because Kobo Touch 2.0 has exactly the same dimensions as Kobo
Glo HD..
