food was first class, the hard coral beaches were very disappointing, we couldn't walk very far as the rangers had all the tracks blocked off as they were burning off & we couldn't sit out

because of the smoke.Not a very good stay for us & we will not be going back to Fitzroy Island.The reef trip which was offered in the package was also extremely disappointing, we expected to be able to get off the boat & walk around
on an island, instead we were
stuck on a pontoon lining up to get
on a glass bottom boat & then sitting
on the boat for the rest of the day, not very good as 80 % of the people
on the boat were sick
on the way out to the reef & it was not even rough also the
food on the boat was nothing to write home about, all in all a crap day.
