And let's not deny, big risks are Nintendo's thing and as far as Zelda is concerned, dark and depressing, or colourful and cheerful, it really doesn't matter to us,

of character, stories and
adventure we just love, and we welcome every new addition Nintendo could throw at us

Fathers in... Action
Adventure and Survival Horror
Games It's hard to feel warm and fuzzy about fathers in these types
of games because they're almost always an antagonist.

because you're focused on the task
of mere survival.

of the «scare factor» comes from the visual imagery and atmospheric sound effects for the kind
of hair - raising experience

of replayability

Because I don't work for a massive site I generally get to pick and choose what I play, allowing me to avoid the worst
of the chaff, but Guise
of the Wolf managed to pique my interest through its description as a first - person gothic action -
adventure gamer where you play as Dominick, an alchemist able transform into a werewolf.
Anyone who is a fan
of Suda51, visual novels or old - school
adventure games will most likely appreciate this
game more and if you overlook it
because it looks a bit messy / confusing, then you are missing out on one
of the best
adventure games of 2018 so far.

Shadow Zero is a character that makes a reappearance from Final Fantasy
Adventure... or rather a distinct lack
of appearance,
because he is next to impossible to come across in the

game too jarring (this otherwise short
game has taken me over 20 hours to finish
because of its action elements).
This is nice
because you can completely choose your fights, and it all works perfectly well with the
adventure style
of the
game.
I say this
because other
game modes on offer are largely different to the
Adventure mode, so much so that they feel more like four separate mini-games rather than four modes
of one
game.
Because of ambiguous rights issues that practically require a flow - chart (the original Wonder Boy was remade as
Adventure Island for the NES and THAT spawned a completely different series, making it the Power Rangers
of video
games), Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap was released a year after the SMS version on the Turbo Grafx 16 (PC Engine in Japan) under the name «Dragon's Curse.»
If you're interested in a blood soaked horror
adventure game about a newly created vampire learning about his powers on the dark streets

because Vampyr looks to be right up your alley.
