The accommodation & food was first class, the hard coral beaches were very disappointing, we couldn't walk very far as the rangers had all the tracks blocked off as they were burning off & we couldn't sit out on our balcony to relax
because of the smoke.Not a very good stay for us & we will not be going back to Fitzroy Island.The reef trip which was offered in the
package was also extremely disappointing, we expected to be able to get off the boat & walk around on an island, instead we were stuck on a pontoon lining up to get on a
glass bottom boat & then sitting on the boat for the rest
of the day, not very good as 80 %
of the people on the boat were sick on the way out to the reef & it was not even rough also the food on the boat was nothing to write home about, all in all a crap day.
But boxed wine is better environmentally
because it is being compared to the current
packaging of choice, heavy
glass bottle.
All
of them are quite shiny
because of the
glass - on -
glass design, but the overall design works as one attractive
package.
