Our players are excited,
because on any given play they could catch a pass,» Ensminger said.

I have

Bottom line, if he is angered bench the players who were not good enough and
play those who deserve some game time based
on the Southampton game or
on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and
play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid player of the club, your
given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't
play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez
on the wing or up top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has been bright from the wing let him
play there - Xhaka has to go back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin
because he could've taken a foul
on the hazard's goal.
Reading the thread
on this article and I noticed a lot of people naming strikers we could have gotten in past transfer windows that have gone to other club and failed, Balotelli, Falcao, Martinez, Boney etc are recurring names in all the comments, and am sat here thinking
because they failed in thee clubs does not necessarily mean they would have failed if we had pulled out our fingers and hot them back then, Balotelli aside I strongly believe all of these players could have made a difference
playing infront of our midfield and
given the kind of attention and care Wenger
gives Giroud and Walcott, adapting our
play to suit them and
giving them chances after chances even when its blatantly obvious they are average players so please lets not keep using that as an excuse for Wenger's ultra careful attitude in the transfer market, they could have failed with us, or they could have been massive for us, all speculations.
I doubt very much that Arsenal will offer Jack 2000 a week, but do you think they will
give him a wage
on parity with players like Walcott or Ozil,
because they have paying those sums for the last two years without Wilshere even
playing for us.

It's the main reason Ozil has flourished, Cazorla can

I remember how he
gave his all and to me was world class in his first season. As time went

because they
play for a club.Fans can turn their back

give their all.I thought they said doing good was a» two way» thing.
OT: My wishes: — Wenger to stop
playing Mert ahead of Gab... this is a must — Wenger being ruthless and stop being stubbornness «big wish» — Wenger to change his transfer policy «big wish as well» — Not count
on very injury prone players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce
because they would never stay fit... It is a dilemma
because they are all quality home grown players, so I can not say «get rid of them all» —
Give our smart attacking players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil) what they need, a striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another quality
because all the sights now
on Sanchez — Get rid of useless team players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with better players (promote or buy good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to ruin
Koscielny — N / A Didn't really have a chance to
play as he was injured fairly early
on and had to be subbed off
because of the discomfort it was
giving him.
I hate to
give up
on the year this early

playing accordingly.
We did well

We were up 10 in the early 4rth and remember the defense
giving the offense the ball back... That was the time in the game when you put your foot
on their throats... You
play with all the energy and passion in the world and you put the game out of reach with a touchdown or even a field goal... You don't
play not to loose, you come out aggressive as hell... Come out 5 wides with grant in the slot or something crazy that theyve never seen the whole game and you shredd their asses... You don't keep it close at that point
because Brady will make
plays and refs to as well to beat you.
It's been all down to a shift in mindset from one that lied to him that he's arrived just
because he's Theo Walcott, England's youngest goalscorer and World Cup player and the best thing since sliced bread and the entitled attitude that follows naturally [hence wanting to
play through the middle without first paying his dues
on the wings, even Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, RVP and now Sanchez paid theirs] to one where he can see his career going down the drain highlighted by his Euro snub, a jolt of reality that got him to roll up his sleeves and
gave us the Walcott we now see, the disciplined and commited player we no longer have to beg to track back and visibly looking to improve all aspects of his game.
Campbell is wasted, if selected he wont even be properly fit to
play against BVB
because Wenger won't
give him game time to get fit, might stick Ozil
on the wing again.
Here's hoping it's up,
because as a SMALL FORWARD - yes, that's what he needs to
play, primarily - he
gives Houston a ton of length, athleticism and versatility
on the outside.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead
on the left and Ox
on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category
because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied
on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but
on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put
on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name
on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy
on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players
on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he
gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
It's not impossible for us to win Also, it won't help us for PL and FA Cup to
give up
on CL
because we will still
play Europa League
If, however, the German continues to remain inhibited to
playing on the flanks, where, when all said and done, he is not going to render much for Arsenal
given the nature of player he is, I can't see how Wenger can stick with him just
because he's Arsenal's most expensive player'til date.
The 49ers are betting big
on Jimmy's potential; we don't yet know exactly what that will be
because he has
played so few games but he
gave them enough of a glimpse to warrant that offer and QB is the most important position
on the field.
I think the players know this and
play with the handbrake
on at times
because they are worried about
giving the ball away and that being the counter which they score
on.
Our 3 back is just so wrong. We don't have natural wingbacks even in this formation. It also seems to me that lots of people here believe if you're good at right or left fullback then automatically you're good at RWB / LWB which quite frankly is untrue. That's why Oxlade Chamberlain can be considered at RWB but not right back.At RWB or LWB you're asking too much in terms of attack from Bellerin and Kolasinac.A proper wing back can be viewed as a more defensive winger which quite frankly none of them are and they don't possess the flexibility too to
play that way.Our midfielders are also not disciplined enough
because in 3 back there's a huge gap in the centre of the field that must be covered by our CM's so indiscipline only means disaster. We also have Ozil who looks like he's
playing at RW in 3 back.In that we're limiting his impact
because Ozil takes
on his man
because he wants to not
because he likes to.You can't
play such players at the wing. He's a proper No. 10 who likes to be
given freedom.That's why Ozil
plays likes he's lazy
on the ball and stuff.It's
because he wants to be free and for that you need to put him at No. 10.
It's funny how he said we are better than Liverpool overrall forgetting that in terms of players we were still better than them last season yet the beat us home and away.Liverpool team is not so good yet out of all the top four team they're the ones who
play their hearts out. That's why Liverpool didn't lose a single game to a top four team last season though
on paper they should have.As for Tottenham if you look at their team they just need a few more signings and consistency so I don't know what's the big deal about them. The painful this is they could've won the league if not for draws. It was a disgrace for any of those two to finish over us last season
because on paper it shouldn't be so.This should tell you that it's not all about the team you have. Some it's about luck, sometimes it's about
giving your best and sometimes it's just meant to be.
Someone should please prevail
on Wenger NOT to sell Perez and to
give him game time
because he is a good versatile player that is pacy and can
play on both wings and as a central striker.
Just
because Bould (who has been
given NO chance by Wenger, clearly, and they are virtual strangers when sitting side by side
on the bench, it seems) SEEMS not to have pulled up any trees, it would be foolish in the extreme to
give a blanket ban to all ex - Wenger players who have
played at TRUE top level.
Liverpool's high pressing game will come to not in this big PL game
because the Gunners have more than prepared themselves to negate whatever the Reds have
on offer against them in the game by making themselves bigger in the game than the Reds have imagined by inflicting
on them a heavy punishment
on the field of
play during the
playing of the match to make them pay for the sin they've committed against Arsenal by
giving them a dose of their own medicine for having the audacity to come to the Emirates Stadium and took away all the 3 points that were at stake in an opening day PL game without at least leave a point for Arsenal to collect in the match..
Yes, sometimes the players make individuals errors which can not be blamed
on Wenger but Wenger is NOT
giving us the BEST POSSIBLE CHANCE TO WIN EVERY GAME
because of his lack of tactics,
playing out of form players, not rotating squad and not having enough cover in CB and DM, HE IS TO BLAME HERE!!!
I don't know how many players are better than Lucas in our team, sometimes I am sick of arsenal fc, he can create chances and he can score, why can, t Mr Wenger just
give him the chance to
play if not favoritism
on is part...... neymar is the most expensive signing in the world how many tackle does he make per game?marez becomes pfa player last two season
because of his attacking flares not
because he knows how to support the left back or right back,....
We came second to Leicester mainly
because of the much greater demands
on the squad from our competing intensely
on 3 fronts,
playing 2 tough games every week without any respite — whilst Leicester had only the League to focus
on, with only one game a week and crucially were
given 2 weeks off to rest and recover their energy levels — over a period in which we were handicapped by many injuries, loss of form and confidence to key players whilst Leicester had no such handicaps.
... I do think we should be brave, and yes that means leaving either Ozil or Cazola
on the bench - its a better shape, and allows Campbell or Podolski to
play on left, and
give us good threat from that side — particularly when Gibbs isn't
playing,
because Monreal not as good going forward
I would say not for a player of Gibbs» ability, even though he has not
played too much first team football for us in the last year or so and has dropped out of the reckoning for the England national team, but it seems to be too much for Watford, who the Daily Mail is reporting have
given up
on the transfer of Gibbs
because of the price.
Playing Walcott as our striker will
give us a different dimension, we will b tearing teams apart wid a front 3 full of pace trickery and goals, our attack will become very dynaminc, we will b hitting teams
on counterattacks (giroud always slows d
play because of his speed) and our midfield will flourish as Dey will find it easy to provide running passes and thru balls.
why was Sanchez truly
playing... no one believes he was too injured to
play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why
play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans
because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to
give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and
played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who
played for Chile and the one that
played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame
on you Arsene and shame
on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this club,
on the outside looking in
Why
on earth will a serious minded football manager adjust his formation (from 4 -2-3-1 to 4 -1-4-1) just
because he wants to
give certain players
playing time?
Apparently Wenger sent Jenkinson
on loan
because he wanted him to get lots of minutes under his belt and he sees him as part of his future plans, Jenko is still only 22, I believe he will be Arsenal's future RB, I see Chambers as a CB, Bellerin looks to be a future star but should be sent
on loan next season to a decent premier league side where he will be
given a lot of
playing time.
It will take Mkhi a bit longer to settle then Sanchez
because we
play a fast passing game in midfield and Mk has to get to know our moves where Sanchez is an individual player
give him the ball and let him get
on with it
insistance
on such terms in a contract can be the cause of problems if that assurance (of
playing) is
given to several players
because the manager may not be able to accomodate everyones expectations.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly
because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of
play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and
play» mentality where players
play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago...
on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender
on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance
play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive
on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted
play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was
playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger
because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched
played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long,
gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities
on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball
play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he
played with Coq Wenger always seemed to
play Francis in a more advanced role
on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third...
on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been
played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily
on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are
on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay
on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen
on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense
given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model
because he holds onto the ball too long and he will
give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue
because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic
because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
